Re: Roli Seaboard GRAND - the ultimate keyboard
OK, can somebody help me understand all this? (God, I am not as old as this sounds, I swear, only a marketing ignoramus.) You buy a Seaboard Block. It comes with a couple of "Players" for 200+ presets on the computer. You can also use their "NOISE" app for most of those same presets, plus you can b...

Re: Rack Extension Sales
I've been trying out ReMix for about 20 minutes and I keep getting crazy DSP usage. Isn't this thing a rompler? I'm having trouble with 4-8 note polyphony and only the RV7000mkII, it keeps cutting out. I have an 8 core 3.2ghz and 20 GB ram... hmmm.... EDIT: it is worse the higher octave I go. Never...

Re: Routing outputs in Reason
Hi, I'm fairly new to Reason and loving it so far, but I always struggle with understanding software mixers, even though Reason is really so much more helpful in many respects than other DAWs. So I was wondering if some kind member might be able to (a) confirm what I want to do is possible and (b) ...

Re: Serum in Reason...how is it working?
I did a quick search of "Serum" and didn't see any comments about how it is doing in Reason. Are there CPU issues? Is it working well in Reason? Anyone with feedback I would appreciate it before I plunk down $189. All I can tell you is it's the best thing I ever bought for Reason 10. So good, that ...

Nice!
There are some interesting dynamics / amplitude modulations going on in there, both on the tones and on the background wind(?). Was that done manually by riding the controls?
Thoroughly enjoyed the piece. Thanks for sharing.

Hurricane - You inspired me to go visit your Soundcloud. Loved what I heard - bestest for me was Late 80s interlude followed by Joyride - great energy and fun in your music that took me back to living that decade!

Re: I have a suggestion
Hello dear fellow Reasoners! I would like to suggest a small idea, that I think would be bananas for us Reasoners. How about if, we'd start to highlight one Reason device every second week and have a thread about it. I think that Reason stocks and REs only at this point. Anyway, we should go though...

Re: Spectra is on the way mid 2016
On a related tack....... I have been looking at the videos of Unfiltered Audio SpecOps from Plugin Alliance. Although this is an effect and not an instrument, it seems to be operating in a similar way? "Unfiltered Audio introduces a new way to slice, dice, mangle and mix your audio using the power o...

Re: Total new starter with subtractor
Hi, Subtractor is not ideal for this, since there is no envelope that controls the pitch of both oscillators (only Osc 1 OR Osc 2). However, if you use CV it can be done: 1) On the back of the device, route Mod Env out to Pitch In. 2) Set the knob next to the Pitch CV input to 12, to get an octave'...

If this thread still about Vocal Rider, I got used to having it professionally but never wanted to hunt for the sale at Waves so for a long time I used this 11€ plugin instead which has basically the same features and really works just as well. https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-autogain/...

Re: Convert VST3 to VST2?
Try this: https://ddmf.eu/metaplugin-chainer-vst-au-rtas-aax-wrapper/ I haven't tried the new version and don't know if v2 supported VST3 (the new version does) but own v2 and use it to get round the GUI issues I have with Cakewalk's Rapture plugin in Reason... Thought I might try this and see if i...

Re: Here's How To Better Manage Waves Plugins In Reason
Sorry, I haven't used a Windows machine in years, but if Jbridge is anything like Bluecat's Patchwork, then you can disable every single Waves plugin and still load them and Studiorack through the wrapper. So in my case, using Patchwork, I can load Studiorack: Screen Shot 2018-01-19 at 2.31.04 PM.p...

Re: Here's How To Better Manage Waves Plugins In Reason
If you have a shit-ton of waves plugins like I do, and your rack effects view is now unmanageable, this is how I've been working with Waves plugins inside Reason. First, download Studiorack here: https://www.waves.com/downloads/free Now, disable every single one of your waves plugins, EXCEPT for St...

Re: WAVES
A minor word of warning. Watch you don't do what I did and purchase a Waves product that requires VST 3.0. They are not always the best at explaining such pre-requisites before you buy. A coupe of days ago, I fell for the F6 Equaliser which is a pretty special beast and capable of automating dynamic...

Re: Novation Impulse 25 ?
Hi swayzak. I'm a great fan of the value you get from M Audio. I currently use two controllers - M Audio 61 (circa £75), and the Oxygen 25 (circa £105). The former is just a great all-round 'players' keyboard, but the smaller device is obviously more portable, plus it's loaded with buttons and knobs...
