Re: 12.2.4 Released
Dragging devices from the browser to the rack or to a shortcut sometimes freezes the whole UI (playback continues) for seconds or even up to minutes in the worse case. I had hopes that this would have been fixed by now, really annoying when it happens. I get the same crash/bug. I'm used to just dra...

Re: Rift Feedback Lite - FREE!
This video is showing the full version of Rift of which the Feedback aspect is derived from. I started it on the part of the video that illustrates one of the cool things that Rift feedback can do to a beat (feedback melodies).

Looove blamsoft stuff. Terrible news if they've gone away, hopefully they're just reassessing or retooling their products.

Re: Shimmer Reverb RE (like Strymon Nightsky or Big Sky)
I have Animus and Fritz and while Animus has the most options for shimmery type stuff I personally find that SMFX Reverb has such a great warm and beautiful sounding shimmer - just my personal opinion. Give it a trial and check it out.

Re: Hydronexius 3 Powered by Combinator 2?
you would think there would be an upgrade / cross grade path> for those that own Hydronexius 2 in rack format I agree with this sentiment. I don't own Algoritm nor do I plan on buying it because I have blamsoft Zero, NI FM, Dex, etc. i love your stuff - I have Hydronexius 2, Glacius and Aquios, not...

Re: DRUM EDIT MODE FOR UMPF
Maybe this is because Redrum and Kong are native in Reason, while the others are rack extensions. Seems logical that REs can't integrate into the sequencer editor. EDIT: not sure Rytmik is an RE, but it is probably built like one. That may be the case. Seems logical I guess. Also, I think there's a...

Re: DRUM EDIT MODE FOR UMPF
That's because they launched the UMPF series of devices together with the Drum Sequencer player and having an inbuilt sequencer would have been redundant. And it still seems to be the way they intend you to use it: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/bundle/umpf-bundle/ No I get that I can use the d...

DRUM EDIT MODE FOR UMPF
Why doesn't UMPF have a sequencer drum edit function like Redrum and Korg? I understand we can make patterns directly on the UMPF rack, but it would great to have a drum editor via the sequencer for longer loops. BTW I know all the tips around making longer loops with UMPF and the Drum Sequencer pla...

Re: Is CombinatorHQ coming back?
I remember collecting stuff from CombinatorHQ a long time ago. All that I have can be downloaded a Dropbox link here: My Combinator HQ Archive Thanks for posting these. I found a couple of patches I made years ago but had lost after the original CombinatorHQ went away. The Mighty AKU - Samurai Jack...

Re: The browser in RRP is super slow mood killer
Browser is trash af and was better before they (fixed) it 😒 It loads super slow every time in standalone or RRP. Yes, it was most definitely better BEFORE the fix. Every time I go to my samples folder or really any folder other than the reason locations the browser indexes. I go to a different fold...

Re: Updating the Reason Browser
If it is falling back on that old search opening folders and .favo list (loading bar every time you reopen reason) it means the indexing is not working as it should, when indexing is working it opens locations extremely quick and searching everywhere is responsive. I spent about 4-5 days trying to ...

Re: THE WRAITH - METAL GUITAR SYNTH
On and I almost forgot some guitars are a VST called Matcha from Wedge Force (an odd one with samples and synthesis). I also tried out Revitar 2 on a few - ultimately Europa can do all that once you work it out. I did a very scratchy A-B of Matcha against a Europa synth using a MIDI File of The Tro...

Re: THE WRAITH - METAL GUITAR SYNTH
Interesting approach, esp with the Feedback as an extra "voice". I did a lot of fake guitar work over the last few years with a few guitar records without guitars (and then one with). It is a very interesting branch of synthesis as many things do not work the way we usually do. Everything we do ten...

THE WRAITH - METAL GUITAR SYNTH
As I mentioned in a my other combinator thread, this is a tweaked and reskinned version of an old Subtractor & Maelstrom guitar synth. I'm no guitar player or expert so perhaps a better amp/cabinet would do this guitar justice, but for Reason stock sounds and FX it does the job and I have a few trac...

Re: Update Reason Browser for Combinators 2.0
Separate question: With R12, when I open (for example) the 'Effects' tab on the browser, the 'vendor' lists are all open, as in your image above. If I close them all, they are again open next time I open the 'effects' tab. In previous versions, Reason remembered what state I left the vendor list in...

I was so sure he was suggesting the same addition that I have been thinking about that I completely glanced over the "Main " Instruments " browser window" he mentioned in the original post. You are correct, those are very different points and I am actually on your side here cause I don't think we s...
