Soundtoys helping with hurricane relief with $10 plugins
Hey, just saw this on their facebook page. For 2 days (Sept 20/21) they will be putting on a sale where 100% of the proceeds go towards helping with the current hurricanes that hit the US. Their "little" plugins that go for $79-99 will be $10 during this time. I actually got their entire soundtoys 5...

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Just for the record this should be in the VST section, also it's normally a $79 plugin. The $25 price is the current sale price with waves big summer sale going on.

Currently one of the features that doesn't work with VST in reason. Any arp VST just won't work. Hopefully they will find a solution in the near future.

Re: Waves SSL-E $29
Btw, what's with this waves upgrade plan? If you buy a few cool plugins on sale at the moment do they got you by the balls with upgrade annual fees? I looked into it, but don't understand the benefits? The "WUP" is not a mandatory feature. Essentially it's there so when stuff moves forward and plug...

Re: Waves SSL-E $29
As someone said on a Facebook page. "For clarification the Reason SSL mimics the eq response curves, dynamic channel and bus response times only. You can think of it as a clean version but as Chalrles said there is definitely a difference in terms of sound. Waves emulated all the subtle nuances of t...

Slate and more slate.
Vcc, vbc, vtm

Softube Summer sale
Just a heads up, but softube is having their summer sale till June 30th.

Re: Anyone else being selective in what VSTs they add to Reason?
Well not being someone who rewires at all in the past I thought I could change up workflow by rewiring into studio one and using all my instruments in reason, but benefit with the midi workflow in S1. When I tried it though I found out when reason is in slave mode it doesn't have access to VSTs. So ...

Re: VST R9.5 and white noise
Did you purchase it or are you trying it out? A lot of VSTs in demo mode have some sort of way to make sure that it will ruin a recording. Such as random notes being played or white noise or crackling every so often. That way you can have as long as you want and get used to using it, but also not us...

Re: Splice is good for Serum etc
Everybody should do this. This is probably the only way I'll get serum which I'm almost at the $100 mark. It's great everybody gets theirs and cuts down on piracy. Also the splice sound service is great too. It's like audible except for samples and presets. I started it up earlier this month. You ge...

Re: PreSonus: speed–smashing latency into the ground & leaving it in the dust!
Yeah this is great. I'll start using the fat channel much more now. Do to computer though, I'll still be freezing tracks cause when putting the low latency on the VSTi's it tends to kill my CPU. But it definitely works. It can go from a slight delay to no delay at all. Audio works fantastic. It will...

YES!!! I'd be even cool with tabs so match the LFO and ENV tabs and put them in between those tabs as well, but yes. This would make me very happy.

Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
So far I love the sound and since I don't have a synth like sylenth, this will fill that hole. I don't think it's too horrible as far as CPU consumption. It's on par with diva in divine quality. A lot of patches aren't that bad, and some can bring the CPU to its knees. Along with the few bugs, missi...

Rewiring into S1 stereo outs
Hello all, I'm curious if I'm missing something. Is there any way to make it so you only have one fader to worry about in Studio one when it comes to a stereo synth? The only way I can think of is just creating a bus hiding the tracks in the mixer section. does any other S1 user know of a better way...

Re: VST developer question
Slate isn't subscription based only. You can purchase each to own for good. No monthly stuff. How waves works is like this. The WUP can be handy and benefit you if you own like all their mercury bundle. What it does is allows you to get any new plugin that comes out and is in that bundle. So if they...

Re: Xfer Serum - you can "rent" to own for $9.99 USD/month
Splice service that I think is not compatible with reason is being able to sync your projects between your computer and splice.com, backing up all your saves and samples The serum part literately seems to only be a thing like ilok when you drag the VST into a project it just makes sure the license i...

A lot of people seem to despise it. To a certain extent I definitely understand where there coming from. It's kind of like reason when they went the dongle route. It's essentially like saying, because you are faithful and aren't trying to screw us over by purchasing our software. Here's something yo...

Re: Props store sale maybe....
I just grabbed the polysix, I'm trying to get into making some synthwave. What else would you recommend? I'm tempted to get the px7 just for the easier access to the interface compared to dexed when vst is made available, but that is $50 for a slight convenience where dexed is free. Is the mono/poly...
