Granted it's speculative, but I think you pretty much have the answer. Plugins, likely mostly out of habit but also down to what it was tested with. Plugins like Scaler don't work with Reason. With controllers, very few are going beyond very basic Mackie control anyway and the ones that do go deepe...

Yeah, Reason just quits after about 15 seconds of M2 launch. It doesn't show in Cakewalk or Harrison 32C so far. I'll even donate if he gets it up and working.

I know Reason RP has a flip rack button, but it would be really nice for the standalone version. I have been experimenting a lot with the cabling lately.

I've been using my I7 laptop for 10 years now and just acquired another that I want to use the usb codemeter flash drive instead of having to be online but Reason 12 on the new computer doesn't recognize the flash drive. I don't always have the internet available. Any tips or pointers?

On a different note I guess the sound packs are free for R+ subscribers, but can RS11 owners buy the sound packs? And if not, why? There are a few I would purchase if not too pricey.

Try also deleting your Reason cache (I think mine was 30GB last time I emptied it) and check your Authorizer folder and delete any partial (failed) downloads from that folder (I had 26GB in this folder). Open all past projects/songs and save as new files in your most recent Reason version (if you have the backup space and the time) and archive the originals. Then we'll be ready for any changes/surprises that will come along. Just an idea.

I always upgrade Reason since R1 except I missed version 2. I was using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9/ Sonar1 around that time. Of course now I have the newest versions of CWBL and R11 Suite. I sure hope they add some needed sequencer functions. If not CWBL is better than all them 'other' daw's for my person...
