Re: Guys what is the best cpu for reason?

I was thinking about getting an i7-8700k, but now considering this one instead -

8 cores, no HT, it beats the 8700k but has a slightly higher msrp.

Most music sucks. Most people are ugly. Most of just about eveything sucks at least a little. But this is nothing new. Think of the absolute most beautiful lover you have ever had. Nice. But, remember her ginger cousin from Oklahoma? You never got to know her but man you sure wish you would have bec...

Re: Guys what is the best cpu for reason?

Maybe a w3175x? I'd like to see the single core score but I haven't seen any tests yet. It is way beyond my price range at this time. I am still looking at the 8700k.

Re: Question regarding reports of performance issues

I am finally having performance issues. It's on an i3-6100u with 6GB of RAM running 28 instances of SAW-1 and 3 Alligators along with 19 other misc effects and utils. An i3930k runs it all with no issues showing at most 3 DSP bars through the track. The i3 is maxing out a few times and crackling du...

Re: Upgraded my PC hardware, now Reason won't run. What's my next step? Also - Reason on dual boot system?

Naaa....its just the overall feeling that applications are not much faster in their response in the last 20 yeras even if the CPU power is more than 5000 times faster. Reason fails to load, if the process is still present due to not shut down, hangs, or is running. Can you check in your task manage...

Has anyone explored these refills? I saw it mentioned a couple times but could not find a review. Looks like a nice package with lots of choices. I downloaded this late last night but did not have time review. "Super deal: 93% discount - you save $393! The Guitar & Bass Booster Pack bundles hundreds...

Re: CodeMeter Service

MS is now saying it only affected folks who did it manually and that about "one one-hundredth of one percent" of updaters were affected. I would like to see that number. I wonder how many TBs of data is gone? Backup your stuff.

I saw your post yesterday, wrote a response, and erased it (usual thing) because I never owned them. BUT, for my 12x15ish space, Ive had 3", 5", 6.5", and 8" 8" is ridiculous, but 5" still lacks in BASS PRESSURE. my 6.5" (focals) weigh 28 Pounds . Nice, Focused Pressure. ... they're just right to m...

Re: Behringer Studio 50USB 5

... And for the record, I agree it’s great to have small speakers (I still swear by my NS-10s, which have about a 5” woofer and are pretty flat to just below 100 Hz), but it’s also great to be able to hear (even poorly) any potential crap in the bottom 2 octaves. Just make it so you can turn off th...

Only 4 knobs is frustrating sometimes. I like Selig's "drag a knob" or maybe a programmable virtual knob/button rack utility that you could use in Combinator or anything else.

Thanks for the info. I really like all the inputs but the 5" is the problem. Do you know of anything else like this with toslink or usb and TRS ins, powered with an 8" under $500 a pair?
