It's very kind of them, really. It means they get *less* money from crossgrade customers than just-the-VST customers. I don't think many people would object if they asked crossgraders to cover the cost of the RS commission, but we're not complaining! It is and I think it's having the desired effect...

Got lost in it last night. First patch was 20 mins of just playing. So much fun and sounds SO GOOD to these ears. I would recommend it very much.

I'm in the dark side now. I find Reason infinitely easier to use but wanted, like you ahuimanu, to see what all the hub bub is about. I'm having a whale of a time getting NI Komplete setup with it right now. With Reason I was making stuff by now. Jury is out but so far I like Live but LOVE Reason.

Apple seems to abandon its older systems so that after a few years you're left on your own. Plus they don't want you digging inside your computer or changing out parts. Even RAM I hear!
