Re: Are you taking advantage of blocks?

I also use blocks to store old arrangements from the main sequencer window. Of course if you change patches or effects then this impacts old arrangements too. Blocks are really useful especially for rearranging songs. Muting is also is a great feature. If only you could see/determine the actual star...

Re: Voluntary group for DAW improvements

Adding extensive and deep Remote support for many hardware controllers including good default maps for all REs could be done as a collaborative effort using a common git repo and a permissive license (e.g. CC-0 aka public domain). That way RS could even include the mappings later on into new Reason...

Re: Reason Studios Black Friday Week 2022

Because there is still no shop wish list, thankfully I've forgotten which REs I wanted to buy over the year.
Money spent on a couple of VSTs instead.

I still don't understand the blind spot over allowing discount upgrades to bundles ( if you have one of say 3 bundled products) or a wish list.

Re: Thoughts on Reason DAW standalone: new life?

This refocusing of their marketing message makes me hopeful more sequencer love is incoming. The workflow is so quick. However as I've only used Reason, it's hard to tell if this is the design or my familiarity with the product. If 13 is full of sequencer updates, they are going to guarantee upgrade...

Re: What grinds my gears (and possible solutions)

You are not alone. Some good points here, but please number them for clarity 1) yes, on a 2k monitor I find the rack too small, but luckily can move it to my 1080p 24 fur that zoom, but it's a pain. The sequencer is perfect without any additional zoom required. 3) a hard slide switch is nuts. Its ti...

Re: Reason 12 F***** autosave

Regular manual saving is the way forwards. Also buying a cheap (ish) UPS helps with power outage save prolonged PC life. However file sizes for multiple sizes can be a problem. Also you may not wish to auto save if you are trying things out and need to revert. And to the chap who had a dig at the de...

As there were no replies, I searched the forum and can now see a few people asked for this feature.

Re: Enlightenspeed LaunchEon in the shop + new bundles!

This looks interesting. As mentioned above, adding a video would help, I find the well planned but brief style of jelie or Pooh Bear videos to be excellent. Shame there is no further discount if you've already bought one of your bundles previously. IMO, I would just stick to combi V2 as going forwar...

Re: Is there an easy way to chop off the exact same amount of time from the start of multiple audio tracks at once?

Now if Reason only would finally add FLAC support one could easily save quite some hdd space by batch converting all .wav samples/stems to .flac. I wonder what's stopping them from adding ogg and flac support since ages, as those have freely available ... THIS. It is truly painful having to convert...

Re: Glitch Rhythm Generator

I decided to use AutoLatch and Delta. Seems to be working great (although I can't really compare the performance to that of TriGater. I removed Front8 and have Delta running straight to the CV8x4. I removed LP UTL and have Delta doing the job of velocity randomization. I programmed the Combi mute/s...

Re: are we going to see more perpetual versions ?

The simple answer is yes, they well continue as otherwise they will lose a (likely large) percentage of people who upgrade their perpetuals who will stick with their final perpetual version and just use it as a RRP. By pushing perpetual owners away (likely to other DAWs) they would also lose future ...

Ok so my BLG and PM haven't updated as I can tell by the step count. How can you tell the version of a RE currently installed? I assumed it would say on the back panel. You can see what versions you have in My Products in your account. Thanks. This is useless if you have two installs and have updat...

Re: Drag'n'Drop don't work with external VSTi samplers

Agree to this sentiment, but am sort of used to a work around as I haven't re-embraced the browser since the r12 enhanchments. One big PITA difference with Reason over other DAWs is not being able to drag and drop content locked in the propriety REFILL format into VSTs. The work around is really pai...

Just to chime in I own and love Fritz. Panda produces amazing REs. 100 percent recommended.

I too spent money on Torsion with points , stupidly without demoing it and really have not used it nor fully understand how to. This is probably all down to me but it isn't as obvious and usable as Fritz.
