Re: Has Rack Extensions been a success and what do think REs future will look like?

Oh i can assure you Europa VST crack exist out there and i've seen it being used on few gigs by people. I know for a fact cause i asked them and they pinpointed me even the name of group released it. For obvious reason i am not going to add more info on this because i don't support cracks but the p...

Some RE's are fantastic. Others are pure junk and PH should be ashamed to even let them in the store.

Re: Goodbye Hydlide?

Are you suggesting that Reason does UI and audio all on the main thread? The way scrolling causes DSP spikes, I’d believe it, but it just seems like an awfully dated architecture for a popular piece of software to be using in 2018. That's the bad design I'm suggesting, yes. Another example of bad d...

Also, it's not that rendering the GUI "interferes" with audio! Both processes use the same, finite resource so simply if more is happening on the screen and the resolution is bigger, the less CPU is left available for audio
lol. This is where I get off the crazy train. You don't have a clue.

Re: Goodbye Hydlide?

As others have said, at the time it was the only viable option and to this day I think majority of DAWs still isn't GPU-accelerated, that's slowly changing though. For Reason it is particulrly important, because once they eventually move to high resolution and changed nothing the CPU load would inc...

Re: Goodbye Hydlide?

Well, he's partly right - Reason renders its GUI using the CPU, so in my case (of relatively low-performance CPU and high-res screen) a DSP meter will usually jump one bar while scrolling the screen with lots of motion in it (rack, mixer) which will causes audible glitches & pops if I'm already at ...

Re: Goodbye Hydlide?

I get why it runs slow... The graphics, the cables, the CV - it's not a normal DAW. Ehrrr no. This is very very wrong. The graphics haven't changed in any major way since version one. The cables and CV have been there since version 1. All this has absolutely nothing to do with performance. Bad prog...

I don't think it's any kind of autotune as it would not sound as real.

Who says it's children? But that Armin van Buuren track is banging. I highly doubt that he made that himself. It's totally not his style.

Re: Quote terrible hit lyrics (Learn from others' mistakes)

Mc Turbo B didn't think the song was that great and he had a problem with the lyric. He didn't think it would become a hit. How wrong he was. It's not the cheesy line that made it a hit, though! xD That's true. I never really figured out why it was such a hit because I think it's quite a weak song.

Re: Quote terrible hit lyrics (Learn from others' mistakes)

I recall the fuss made about the Cancer lyric at the time. Cancer's a terrible disease and all that, but is it really that bad to use in a lyric? Bit oversensitive I think... Mc Turbo B didn't think the song was that great and he had a problem with the lyric. He didn't think it would become a hit. ...

Sry, i need to ask...what does this synth offers compared to some other? It is a old reproduction with quite limited waveforms and a lot of synths build up on this and provide more features. So, is it worth? What does it offer? The sound examples are not that great imo.

Re: d16's LuSH-101 on sale again.

I really love the sound of this synth, especially with some of the third party sound design patches - flames. My only issue is that pads tend to eat the CPU and reason seems to have issues with the automation flow that works fine in other VSTs. Clicking on parameters to automate in Lush doesn't do ...

Re: I want some new toys for my Reason set-up....opinions pls

Push is fantastic with Reason, but you do need PusheR from Retouchcontrol to really get going (and I do mean that it IS fantastic) and Grid64g is also a nice addition for drum programming. And a Push one will suffice, really. The push 2 does look fantastic. Thinking of trying it some time.... Maybe...

hey! first post but I just have to get this out there... I'm looking to add to my set-up and have my eye on the Push 2.
