Just a lovely device, already mentioned that in the beta channel
It's just wonderful to think that with just a few notes of input, we can get epical rich outputs steering whatever the hell it's connected to!

Re: CV Tool Bundle by Tonicmint soon...
@Vil: any chance that you could add CV inputs on the back of Pistons, to control all the parameters from there?! That would be great imho, was messing around with it a bit today, and came accross the combinators limitations once again. (The list is too short lol) Otherwise I will have to resolve to...

Re: Robotic Bean -60% in the shop
I think the Clappers are a bit underrated, especially the Acoustic Clapper where you can adjust the amount of clappers and sloppiness. The fact that it uses round robins and the sloppiness is a bit random makes it really useful and brings some liveliness compared to normal clap samples. Was about t...

Re: Reason Algorithm re how many possible algorithms
Y'see folks, maths CAN be fun :D Oh yes, I love maths, love all the crazy algorithms (lulul) that mathematicians come up with hehe :P For example the Mandelbrot set, which was used to calculate roughly the entire outline of UK coastline (if i'm not mistaken lol) When I was a kid, I went to bed ever...

Re: Reason Algorithm re how many possible algorithms
does being able to change the signal with a shaper or filter at any point in the algorithm change the calculation of how many variances are possible or are algo's only the shape of the connections the shaper /filter count the same as an FM OP or WT Osc, they still have 8 in/9 out :) ! /edit: each s...

Re: Reason Algorithm re how many possible algorithms
i guess its 9op's, each able to get 8 inputs and do 9 outputs (the 8ops + output) times 4 different modules (fm/filter etc)
Would be something like (9 * (8 * 9 * 4) * feedbackloops), so i'm assuming it's INSANELY high

It happens with everything that has a display tbh, scroll a bit with a few Complex-1's in the rack for example.

Re: Thumbnail for VST with no gui?
Ok , maybe this helps: 1 -> stick VST in the rack 2 -> "File -> Export Device Remote Info" 3 -> open txt file ^ 4 -> create those 2 files "vst.dev.InstrumentName_browser/device.png" 5 -> win? Excellent! I got stuck a week ago after i tried the steps from the other thread, cause the names i found in...

Re: Thumbnail for VST with no gui?
And, you can not take a screenshot of a VST that doesn't open it's gui, ie: click on the "open window" button does nothing for this particular VST. ( yes the VST itself works fine :puf_wink: ) Ok , maybe this helps: 1 -> stick VST in the rack 2 -> "File -> Export Device Remote Info" 3 -> open txt f...

Re: Question about sampling for RS Samplers
Depends on how you use the sound :) ! Recording a sound for use as a 'regular' instrument, you'd probably be best sticking somewhere in the middle of the keyboard. If you use the sound for use in the higher range of the sound spectrum, it might be better to go up a little bit, or down a little bit f...

Re: Stupid Question about Grain
So then, for a given preset in the stock Grain install, there is an underlying wav file and it is stored where the samples are kept? I'm sure I'm not being as clear as I'd like, but I know I can drop a sample in and start with that from basically anywhere, but the samples that drive the various pro...
