Re: Snapping Automation Points to Grid?
Yeah, you can only enable snap and use something like 1/32 bar or 1/64, and slowly move the dot to the grid. You can't quantize it.

Panning a sound Left right automatically
Hi gang,
So this time I would like to pan my hithat left to right automatically (or bouncing it left to right if you want). Which utility tools or effect could I use to do the job?
Thanks

Re: new to Reason - how to MIDI learn a control?
But on MPK49 or MPK61 it's tricky because you have to setup 2 devices (Keyboard and Surface), at least for my case I was struggling to get my knobs and faders to control Reason interface, then I saw this video on YT where the guy suggested that the surface should be added too, I don't know if it's a...

Whatever it's just funny to see that the stock clock on 3770k is better than the rest of released today's CPU. Old but gold they use to say. It's still the best processor out there.

Re: Saving each lanes as WAV
Mastering is I done to the final song/album; it is the very last step. You don't want to apply any "mastering" to your individual t channels. Send him the tracks so he can "level" them and then what will happen? Well he do the mixdown or will he send the individual tracks so you mix them, or somebo...

Re: My wishlist for Reason 11
Hi boingy, there is a section called Reason Feature Requests just right above, you might wanna add this thread there or at least ask the moderators to move it in there. If you want the devs to read your thoughts, I believe there would be the right place to express all wishes and feature ideas.

Re: Saving each lanes as WAV
None of the effects in the mastering chain will be applied to your individual mixer channels because they are supposed to affect the whole master output (the channels combined). Why would anyone want to export individual channels with the mastering processing applied individually? If you want that ...

Re: Saving each lanes as WAV
If you select the MASTER output, everything that you "hear" will be rendered. Otherwise only the channel and it's fx is rendered, so no send fx or master fx. I am confused now, what is the difference between selecting Master output for it to be rendered on the Bouncing option and Exporting the whol...

Re: Saving each lanes as WAV
True. You can directly bounce to a file. Never tried with multiple lines. For example I have a KONG DRUM mixer channel with 9 lanes. Also a question because I couldn't find the answer in the document: What happenes to the bounce mixer channel if I don't select the MASTER SECTION? And what does it m...

Old as in not currently sold first hand and you're proposing it to someone who's in the market for a new one. I don't know what you are talking about: https://www.amazon.com/d/Cpu-Processors/Intel-i7-3770K-Quad-Core-Processor-Cache/B007SZ0EOW If you say something it would be nice if you back up you...

Re: Advanced Mastering - Focusing the Master Bus Compressor [Q]
My approach begins with the idea that you want ito use a “clean” signal for the side-chain. But if you use the CR, the signal you’re using is not only already compressed by the Master Compressor, but also affected by all the other stuff I see in your master insert. To my way of thinking, you’re tak...

Saving each lanes as WAV
Hello gang,
Just a simple question, is there a way to save every lane separately as WAV file? I mean I could mute every lane and only unmute a single lane to save it as a WAV but that would be time consuming. Any advice how can I save all lanes in WAV separately in one go?
Thank you.

Re: Advanced Mastering - Focusing the Master Bus Compressor [Q]
My point was to distill the concept down to the basics, and avoid using the master out or control room out, period. You only need two connections to make this work, no matter which EQ or filter you choose. Using splitters or a mix channel isn’t necessary at all, even for more complex setups. I keep...

Thank you Selig and diminished, I think I understand now how the master bus sidechain works with Stereo image to achieve the same effect as Ryan described on his video. Great stuff, nothing like this I could learn from FL studio before. I love reason

Piano keys highlight on Piano roll Edit Mode
Hi :reason: dev gang, I am a former user of FL Studio and in there when we are in piano roll edit mode, we could see the piano keys being highlighted when playing notes on the keyboard or piano keyboard. Re: Advanced Mastering - Focusing the Master Bus Compressor [Q]
Use Thor then. You can use the high pass filter on it, it has a 24db option (as far as I remember). Search how to use Thor as a filter, once you got it set up, save it as a patch and just use it as a filter for your master bus compressor keying! :) I will try, what should I TURN OFF from Thor becau...

Re: Advanced Mastering - Focusing the Master Bus Compressor [Q]
You can do that with any eq or filter be it stock, re, free or paid. If you don't want to use the stock EQ for this, or Thor's high pass filter, or the mclass stereo imager, there is a free re in the shop, search for filter and you'll find it, magmasonic I think is the developer. I can give a try w...
