Thanks! You seem very knowledgeable so I have another question. Is it possible to copy and paste stretch percentages from one clip to another? I'm doing a remix and some clips had stretch enabled, etc, so now I'm retiming them by hand because i can't copy/paste exact stretch percentages...or can I?

If you extend a block it automatically loops the contents. But this doesn't exist for clips. If I could have more than 1 block on top of each other than I could do that, but that's not possible either. Is there something I'm missing?

Something like this is probably the easiest at this point. You can command+A (windows control+A) to select all, then shift select what you don't want. You can zoom out and use the razor tool (R) to select from the left, then drag to the edge of the right to get all that stuff. Zoom out shortcut is c...

I just bought Substance. Has great sounds. I'm noticing that some of the internal adjustments like volume or EQ don't do anything. I.e. I can turn down the volume of one of the 3 samples all the way and it still plays. I must be doing something wrong? Any hints?

Anyone on this thread mess with UVI's drum designer? I have it, but it's kind of a pain to work with. The host automation seems confusing, and once I generate midi from their sequencer sometimes adjusting the velocity in the props timeline doesn't do anything. Any tips?
