Not necessarily other tracks but... open the rack section, press tab to flip devices around and then check if those have audio inputs (synths like Thor and iirc Komplex do). If they have then you can utilize that. Not necessarily from another track, but definitely by applying some patching.

Sounds like time to fire up the 'Controller Editor' to see how things got mapped exactly. You should be able to change the mapping(s) to something else for different sections of your keyboard. When in doubt try the "MCU transport" template to see if that does something for you.

Mixing is only part of the whole thing. You're right if you say that you can make high quality material using Reason, but having said that it's also true that many Reason instruments and presets can have a distinctive sound to them.
