Re: Cv sequencing of non western tunings possible in reason ?
Ok so i didn't read the comments, the need for microtonality is pretty subjective. Some may see it a frivolous, some may see it as a requirement. Regardless, microtonality should be a part of the new midi specification i believe. When instead of note, you send frequency(or detune factor) along with...

Re: Selig Audio May Madness 50% off to end of month!
Thanks for the sale man, finally picked up selig gain, because i think its useful to have it in RRP. However i wish RS provided a similar RRP alternative device as the SSL channel strip is missing. Anyways, i picked up selig gain. Now in dual mind about leveller...i think i need it, but i really don...

Re: To Screw or Not to Screw…
IMO the Reason Rack is mostly about eye-candy (the same goes for VCV Rack). When I compare both to Ableton stock devices or Bitwig Grid, I really enjoy the look of Reason (and VCV) Rack. On the other hand, I feel that systems with non-skeuomorphic designs (like Ableton and Bitwig) are easier to und...

Re: To Screw or Not to Screw…
Im on the don't care side of things as of now. Im more interested in can it make the sound i want it to as this moment. As a teen the rack emulation concept was very appealing. And it was more exciting to flip the rack, and play with the cables, or unscrew that subtractor screw. the good thing about...

Country specific pricing ?
Id like to buy so many REs but each of the good ones cost about 99$ It could be a good price for those in the US or the developed world, but there must be users from the third world countries for whom this is just insanely unaffordable. They're basically paying double the price because of their lowe...

Re: Objekt has arrived!
You can use any audio source, that means also any sampler inside Reason or the RRP. Just lets say, you through Objekt in a Combinator and add Grain or Kong into the Combinator, but instead of connecting to the mix output you need to connect the sampler's output to the Audio Input of Objekt. Now pla...

Re: Individual track vs master eq question
Ok so i came to the same conclusion, would have to do the mix again. I have another question though, so my main out from the computer goes thru the mixer to my headphones. The eq on the mixer is zero(flat). Im auditioning in the headphones, and it sounds fine the way it is but when i export it and ...

Re: Spring sale has started bargains galore (March 2023 - no MAY MADNESS this year)
my only gripe with RS is that when they came up with a new way of working in reason i.e the player devices, they should have included a pattern player and a drum pattern player with R11 instead of selling them seperately....that feels wrong actually. It feels like youre selling a car with a steerin...

Re: Spring sale has started bargains galore (March 2023 - no MAY MADNESS this year)
Well, i know about how the things are priced here etc...but then my thing is that i have consciously tied myself to the reason ecosystem...also i have liked the propellerheads since a long time...and even though i have spent a lot of money here, i got overpriced stuff too...but its ok...i guess...my...

Let's hear AI produce some Al Green or Led Zeppelin that is NEW - then I'll be impressed. Artificial intelligence is a tool that will allow you to create, whatever you want, better and faster, is that enough or not? :D Im happy, it'll help me create fart noises better and faster 😅 Fartificial Intel...

Looks like an amazing tool, I'm inclined to try it, but I'm not that good with programming, especially dsp stuff... I'd rather leave it to the pros, I'll give ut a try sometime though

Re: Noob question: assign midi note to kong drum pad in RRP
Yea i figured i needed an intermediary between the drums and kong, figured it out. Mapped ut with bomes midi translator. I could theoretically do it from the edrums itself, but its better to do it with a translator. You have the option to have multiple assignments ready, and you can select whichever...

Noob question: assign midi note to kong drum pad in RRP
Ok so maybe a dumb question but lets say i load up a kong kit in RRP.
Now i want to play certain kong pads with certain pads on my edrums.
Lets say i want to play pad 4 with the my drum tom 1 pad.
Any quick way to do this?

Re: AI - Cheating or just evolution?
Here's my take on this... people who play acoustic instruments could feel that people who use electronic hardware instruments, are cheating, people who use both could feel those using computers for music are cheating, those using regular DAWs and vsts etc may feel that those using AI are cheating......

Re: soundcloud is altering my track
It could be their compression algorithm doing sketchy stuff...i have never uploaded uncompressed wavs to SoundCloud...so i really don't know...do they even host wav files ?
Why don't you make a proper mp3 out of it yourself and then upload? See if that works?
