In the old browser, you can step through presets, and they load in the device with preset-focus (that orange highlight). Hm..at the moment I m not convinced. I can't see features like folder tracks, better audio editing or mixer improvements but I curious to see what really is in version 13.

I recorded it in Bitwig and mixed it with some Reason Rack Plugin magic. First time, I was working with the reason rack plugin.

In slice edit mode it would be great if you could see the grid lines through the audio clip like in comp edit.

I also had audio dropouts in Reason and the following helped me:

1. set Windows to high performance mode (unfortunately it is hidden in Windows 11, just google how to enable it)

2. deactivate USB energy saving

3. update the graphics driver

Everything is on maximum and energy saving for the usb is alread deactivated. It just happened in reason every other daw runs fine with no problems. My guest is that reason reacts to some background processes of windows 11.

I have tested it again, since I had not considered the monitor in the first test. Now I have a latency of 45ms but when I set the latency compensation in the options it also works.

No I record on track at the time. I put a cabel from the headphone out into an input. Play the kick in track 1 and recorded the result in on track. Muted the track and recorded another track.
