Noise Drums
I used Kong to make a set of noise drums. This uses basic Reason modules. Standard Reason drum mapping (C1,C#1,D1,D#1). A lot of the times I'll use this for hi hats.

Re: Quilcom SIM-FILM
I already had C++ installed, so I never ran into that issue. But, I would use the vcredist_x64.exe file (you should probably set a restore point in Windows before the install too).

Quilcom SIM-FILM
Quilcom (Rex Basterfield) has a ton of VSTs. His latest is Quilcom SIM-FILM. This will replicate the sounds from old movie projectors. All of his VSTs are on one page, so scroll to the bottom to get the latest. I also like Ghost Radio, Trout and Spin Synth. https://flowstoners.com/quilcom All of his...

Re: Combinator 2 question or Combinator 3 possibility
It's not an elegant solution, but on some combinators I'll add a switch button and then setup all the defaults to activate when you push it. But, this won't change the positions of the dials on the combinator, only under the hood.

Random Sci Fi sound generator Combinator for Reason 12
Altair IV: Random Sci Fi sound generator Combinator for Reason 12 Another highly specific combinator I had laying around for a year or so. I was trying to come up with a Krell patch using Europa. Uses stock and free modules (little LFO and KHS limiter). Be careful with pitch spread and the filter Re...

@joeyluck
No issues with loading times. About 1 to 2 seconds (same as Arturia and other VSTs). Having said that, many times a VST will send Reason into Not Responding mode for a few seconds.

It's on sale for 29 $. Not sure how long the sale lasts.
This pretty much solves my West coast synth issues.

@reasonuser12
I just tried the ARP and I got the same error/issue as you did. I didn't find any settings that fixed the problem. I'm assuming it's a bug with Vast, because my other VST Arps work fine.

Re: Vast Vaporizer 2 is now free/open source
Yeah, I used the version that bypasses the CPU check. It works fine for me. I'm not on a real high end machine. I'm running an Intel i5-9400 2.90GHz / 16 GB memory. 4GB Nvidia card.

Re: Cv sequencing of non western tunings possible in reason ?
If you want to go the free VST route then do this:
1. Use the attached SCl file I created using the musical ratios in the The Sacred Sounds Scale doc.
2. Tune down Reason to 432HZ
4. Use a free VST that supports scl files (like Vital or Surge).

Re: Valley Plateau plate reverb port - Beta Testers
I can beta test (if you still need testers). I think this is probably the reverb 99% of VCV rack people use.

Re: Simple Multi Tap delay
When you press Ping Pong you'll need to pan it to one side or the other (which is how KHS Delay works). It's like a stereo width/spread thing.

Simple Multi Tap delay
Simple Multi Tap delay. Uses stock and free modules. The dry signal on the far left can be sent through the filter by pressing the "To Filter" button. All of the delays are sent to the filter by default. If you open the device panel you'll find a LFO that can control the filter cutoff. Uses Reason 1...

Re: True microtonal poly-paraphonic synthesizer
I'm running Reason 12 and use the VST2 version of Oddsound MTS-ESP MINI (that's the free version). I just drop it into the rack and then load up whatever instruments I need (that are supported). Usually that would be Arturia Pigments or their V collection. I'll also use some of the Full Buckets VSTs...
