Hello,
I installed some plugins that work in other daws, like Ableton but not in Reason.
In addition, I specified the path that the plugins are there( ( Prefrences>>Folders>> C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Kilohearts )).
No plugins still.
What should I do?
Thanks

Re: Good Speaker Monitoring for Mix and Mastering or Sound designing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqfPx8peqNI I hear the entire spectrum. But I actually never work below 80. And in my opinion, if there's a lot of energy below 120, it's not good for the whole mix. But I also have a tendency to overdo the volume in the high mids because I have bad old rock and roll...

Re: Good Speaker Monitoring for Mix and Mastering or Sound designing
Thanks, everyone. <3
I concluded that it's better to use both headphone and speaker monitoring, especially for low frequencies in my genre.
but it's a bit annoying to choose the kick with a headphone.
What do you suggest?

Re: Use Europa as an effect
If I'm not mistaken, BV-X offers an additional unison effect which can be applied to incoming audio. But if you're going to pay for a unison effect, there's probably better options (perhaps even free VSTs) that are worth checking out There is always Unison FX in Reason since the beginning. Build yo...

Re: Use Europa as an effect
Since there are no external inputs, you can't use any of the audio FX. The Unison function is done at the oscillator level IIRC, duplicating and detuning/panning copies of the oscillator itself (in code), like all "supersaw" type "effects". It is not an audio effect added to the audio signal like a...

Use Europa as an effect
Hello,
Can we use Europa as an effect? (like Thor)
For example, use Europa's Unison as an effect for another instrument.
Thanks

Good Speaker Monitoring for Mix and Mastering or Sound designing
Hello, First of all, My genre is Electro House. I have 2 speaker monitors : 1)JBL 1 Series 104 Speaker Monitoring (4.5 inches, 60Hz - 20kHz) 2)Presonus Eris E3.5 (3.5 inches, 80 Hz - 20 kHz) Which one do you recommend for mixing and mastering and sound designing? Actually, are they good? or I should...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
Could you describe it in more details? Using the mod matrix. Scale is multiplication, sending two things to the same destination will sum (addition), inverting one signal will subtract (difference). Someone even created the actual formulas written out for each operation in the modulation matrix but...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
Have a look at the combinator programmer: Thor should not receive the midi notes. Also have a look at the oscillator modules of Thor. As you can see I removed those as one would not want to have Thor generate any sound by itself. You're right. I didn't notice the combinator. Wow, I am surprised aga...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EW_Ppl3mIp8 explains how to do the basic routing for using Thor as an FX device. Now instead of routing to filter3 input you simply route to audio output 1/2 and use audio input 3/4 as source for scale (in the third column of the mod matrix). Don't forget to increase...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
Alright, am I the only one curious - why are you working so hard to try to make the old workhorse Thor function like a modern synth? All the "new" stuff, like big unison stacks and MSEGs wasn't yet a thing in 2007. Luckily, for people who like that kind of stuff, Europa DOES have them. Is there som...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
Like the others mention, stack X amount of Thors in the Combinator, based on the number of oscillators you want to make a single note 'voice', so you can start simple, add in 3 Thors. In each Thor set the Osc 1 to Saw, and then you can go to the AMP/Pan section, on 1st instance leave centre, on 2nd...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
You want to stack multiple thors in a combinator And do some fun combinator to programming to control the number of detuned voices, the detuning, panning and dry/wet. The number of voices should also control the pan position for an even spread. EXACTLY Could you explain more? What should I exactly ...

How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators
Hello,
I want to create a Unison effect in Thor using 2 analog osc as shown in the picture.
What should I do?
((I don't want to use Multi OSC, which is available in Thor).)
It's better to create it as it has the options in Europa, like Blend and Spread.
Thanks

Re: Create an envelope like Europa in Thor Synth
You can set the Global Envelope in Thor to loop, and also to ignore BPM sync so that it has any rate you like. But you won't have the ease of setting the loop length in Hz like you do in Europa. You have to adjust the stages of the ADSR to make the total loop length. Thanks for answering the questi...

Create an envelope like Europa in Thor Synth
Hello,
I want to create an envelope, like Eutopa, in Thor which has a LFO inside it.
What should I do?
I mean, the speed of the envelope in Europa changes with respect to its LFO and loop over.
I want something just like this.
Thanks
