Re: Quality of Life requests

If you mean resizing the browser window then yes I know about it, however it just adds more space while the files (patches, songs) remain the same size and still difficult to tap on using a finger. If that’s not what you mean though, is then no, I don’t know about it.

Quality of Life requests

There are some things that bug me when using reason (especially in my use cases for live performance, but would benefit everyone). So here we go: - Open file load/save dialogs and VST Plugin windows by default on the same screen as the one Reason's main window is at. Currently, I'm using a 3 screen ...

Bring back the keybed graphic in combinator

In Combinator 1, in the Editor mode, there was a keybed graphic which would visually depict the range of notes that a device could receive. This made it extremely useful and quick to set the ranges. However in Combinator 2, this has been removed in favor of the arrow sliders which are very hard to u...

Expand Combinator's Transpose Range

Currently the Combinator in the Editor can transpose the note input for a device between -36 and 36 semitones (essentially up to 3 octaves down and 3 octaves up). There are certain cases (when using multiple splits for live performances) where for example I assign a device to receive notes between C...

Re: Make "Run" on Pattern Devices Assignable to Combinator Buttons

Does it have to be controlled via Combinator? What about directly mapping "Run" button to MIDI or Key button? Still +1 for request. Overall RS should include all buttons and knobs on all devices to be available for mapping in Combinator and MIDI. My approach for live gigs is that I have a single so...

Re: Make "Run" on Pattern Devices Assignable to Combinator Buttons

This is possible already. In fact there was a run button included by default on the old combinator. For Reason 12, in the combinator editor click on configure. You then click on the play button next to run. It’s automatically assigned to every device with a Run function. I’m afraid you misread my p...

Re: Set Song Tempo via Combinator control

The blocks in the transport and accessing them through FF is a good idea that I hadn’t thought of. However this only works if the track list and order in a gig is set in stone, which in my case and experience almost never happens. Depending on the crowd my band often skips tracks or jumps back and f...

Set Song Tempo via Combinator control

While semantically this does not belong in the Combinator, I would like a feature where the transport control (and most importantly the tempo) can be targetable and controllable through a combinator button. For instance, I could bind a combi button to set the song tempo to a particular BPM. This wou...

Make "Run" on Pattern Devices Assignable to Combinator Buttons

Currently, Combinator buttons can only be assigned to Enable/Disable patterns on Pattern devices (such as Matrix and Redrum), with the additional option to include a "Run Pattern Devices" button that triggers the Run button in all Pattern devices in the combinator simultaneously. I would love a feat...
