Re: Pianoteq Black Friday deal - 30% off Worth every penny.
I love Pianoteq. Most fun of all the pianos i have by far. Although the per note edit (available in the pro version) is very cool for making prepared piano's and the-like, the normal version already gives me many more options than I'm using. Because it is so inspiring to play i tend to do that, inst...

Re: How To Achieve This Quality Of Low End?
my 2 cents... I think its not so much in the type of bass you use. By correctly using the acoustic bass in subtractor you can get there as well. Most important thing here is exactly what you say. The bass is "clean". The bass gets the room it needs by arranging the piece correctly. What these pieces...

Re: Reason 10 Sound Banks have to be on C:\ now?!
Yes, this is in part because of how Microsoft wants files to be organized. R7 installed everything with the program. Nowadays though, programs have to be installed in a way that they are multi-user--account aware. When two people use the machine (i.e. both have their own user account), and one has a...

Re: Yamaha Montage and Reason Sustain pedal problem
It probably isn't your pedal. More likely it is the montage that is not sending the right midi CC. Check which input you put the pedal in, and make sure it is sending CC64.

I don't have one, but I have a SL 88 Grand. It's the tp40 wood fatar keybed. I know NI uses fatar, not sure which, but if there's one with that keybed I can at least say: that keybed is awesome

Re: Pianoteq 6 Released
I was waiting for V6 to drop and after playing with the demo for months on end i finally have 3 models to play with. Its such a joy to play. For me, pianoteq is, without a doubt, the most playable, most expressive piano VST there is. Sampled piano's, like Ivory are beautifull sounding but they lack ...

Re: Full Remote support for Browser
I allready choose my patches using a rotary encoder. You can set this up using the Additional Remote Overrides which you can find under options. Downside is, it can only be done for the device you are currently playing. If however, that is all you need then you can also assign a rotary to choosing w...

Re: MIDI channels in Reason
Hi everyone I understand Reason pretty much ignores channel info for MIDI, is there any way around this? I see there is the advanced MIDI options, there is not much information about this online but the manual states it is for external sequencers? So there's no way I can have say, Subtractor1 contr...
