Radical Pianos..
I shouldn´t write this. My english is to poor but I do it anyway because piano is so important for me in my music production. I think Props are doing mostly everything right. When I saw Radical Piano coming I really wanted to like it. But every time I play this RE I become so disappointed. This is ...

New 12" MacBook, MacBook Airs, and MacBook Pros
New 12" MacBook Their MacBook line is a bit confusing. Why the rebranding with just 'MacBook' for a notebook thinner that the MacBook Air? Is it because the performance is lower that they just want to differentiate somehow? Seems silly. It's because the new thin Macbook is an entirely different pro...

It was a weak upgrade. That doesn't mean the features added were bad. Just not enough to justify the price. Reason is still Reason, If you can make a song in one version you can make a song in any.

What!!!!! Another Reverb Unit RE
Well it is a currently $15 app in the App Store that has some great reviews apparently http://fiedler-audio.com/products/ad-480/ . It'll be cheap more than likely, can't hurt. Who knows it might just be amazing.

Is there a way to make Reason stop...
QVprod made this video showing a workaround for auto punch in/out. You can also use this method to create a remote override for the Stop button. http://www.reasontalk.com/post/video-auto-punch-inout-for-reason-7289897?pid=1286169723#post1286169723 Funny I was just about to suggest this. I can't th...

Vibrato in the Vintage Horn refill
Don't have the refill but I've heard vibrato in the introduction demo for it. http://www.bigfishaudio.com/Vintage-Horns . My guess would be the vibrato woulds be an articulation assigned to a keyswitch. If a manual came with the refill (I would imagine so considering the possibilities) I would chec...

using external VST on Reason audio/midi?
If you're doing individual channels, route the direct output to your audio output of choice and route that to the effect. You then have to route that to an input (like you would for recording instruments) and record it to a new track. Or alternatively you can route the track insert fx (To Device) to...

Hardware interface audio outputs . You'd have to manually route the cables though.

If you know the fretboard, both it and keyboards are a series on half steps (on each string).

Would you like to have REV from OUTPUT as RackExtensions?
Hey, this will go great with my new library of pitched down samples, followed by my library of slowed down samples, then pitched up samples, then sped up samples. Maybe next I'll release a library of samples with delay added! ;) Seriously, maybe this is useful but I find adding more than one revers...

Whats your Keyboard weapon of choice?
Nektar P6. Best keyboard controller I've ever touched. have an Axiom 2nd gen that feels horrible in comparison. It's not the weighted feel you especially looking for but I get decent results playing piano on it. Nektar just released the Impact LX88 and it's cheap so that might be worth checking out...

Where is this professionals web page? Actually, have to chime in here. Mike Kuz is actually my boy from college. In fact he's one of the guys who introduced me to Reason around 2008. He's definitely a professional. You can check him out here: http://www.mikekuzmusic.com/ http://www.stadiumred.com/h...

If you want to use them simultaneously you would need to combine your main interface and the FW16e as an Aggregate device (Mac) or using Asio4all (PC). Otherwise as you stated you can only use one or the other.

Bad Mister's first 2 or 3 posts on that thread, the ones that describe the capabilities of the FW16e card, are actually general and not cubase related at all.
Midi out works basically the same way in any DAW that has it. The only thing you can't do in Reason is send sys ex messages afaik.

If it's strumming you're looking for I believe what you want is AutoTheory. You'll need to keyswitch between two of them in a combi to simulate natural up and down strums though (in theory). That said, I don't think theres any RE thats going to give you the same immediate results as the acoustic gui...

Question:Can REASON used a DSP audio card ?
Actually video frame rate and sample rate are not at all related and doing this analogy is basically causing the confusion people have about digital audio. For audio you *DO* have all the values in between samples, the ONLY thing that the sample rate defines is what the highest captured frequency i...

Question:Can REASON used a DSP audio card ?
The higher rates, while are more accurate as far as amount of samples are concerned, generally don't add any additional audible recording quality but do significantly increase your cpu load and file sizes. What you don't want to give a mastering engineer is anything with dither applied. Sample rate...

Question:Can REASON used a DSP audio card ?
I always thought the whole song should be recorded AND mixed above 44.1 so as to hand over a high quality audio file to the mastering engineer. No? Also, if I'm wrong, when exporting to WAV for him do you then put it on 88.2? (that is the highest I go) I think it's worth stating that you don't actu...
