Re: Noticable latency differences when recording effect
You can ping with the free VMG-01 RE. https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... ple-delay/
That will at least tell you how much latency there is exactly.

Yeah I remember when beta testing little LFO, one user reported to have calculated that the slowest cycle times to be something like several years.(!)f2f2111d wrote:Little LFO's range is 0 to 4096hz, starting in 0.001hz increments. THAT is the LFO you're looking for, I think.

Re: Did the issue of the Props possibly violating EU law regarding license transfers ever get settled?
I don't believe they break EU laws. At least since that issue has first been discussed, nobody appears to have persued any legal action that would have surfaced here. I'd actually argue that Rack Extensions couldn't be considered regular software, as there is no way to utilize them except within Rea...

Re: How good is the Delay Compensation?
I think what the DC should be doing, is delaying everything else 2.77 seconds. But you've only got one mix channel running, so there's nothing else there to be compensated.
Try adding a parallel, unprocessed mix channel of the synth, and see what happens.

Re: Record arming audio tracks confusion
Well setting inputs from the sequencer doesn't exactly require a lot of dedication and work. It's just clicking on the track, where it says Ins and then selecting the input.

Re: Can Someone Explain the ADSR - Sustain Level - to me?
It's a level parameter because it defines the level your sound will sustain at, once the first duration-based phases are over (usually attack and decay), and before the release is triggered. In official german language the sustain level is called "quasi stationäre phase" - quasi starionary phase. It...

Well you could take a look at record drum takes:
https://shop.propellerheads.se/browse/?q=Drum+takes
It's basically pre recorded sessions for you to import into your Projects. Tempo will adjust automatically.

Re: Is there such a thing?
Well G8 Features a sidechain input, as does the gate in the big mixer. Just record your tapping and plug direct outs to sidechain inputs on the mix channel. In the Mixer activate gate and set threshold and timing according to your needs. Also Alligator's gates can be keyboard-controlled, by assignin...

Is there a place dedicated to just Reason's CV here?
Since all the inquiries here seem to revolve about finding the right threads and posts, it appears to me the answer would not be to convolute the further, but to implement some kind of intelligent search engine, which would in the ideal case know the kind of things you're looking for (and could be a...

Change sample rate and buffer size in the middle of a session
Reason non-destructively renders lower samplerate versions. If yo recorded at 192, when you revert back to 192 it will not be 'upsampled', but actually the original 192 khz files will be restored. So to answer your question: overall quality of the recording will be the same.

Re: Some HW integration questions
I think renaming inputs and outputs sadly isn't possible as of yet. But if your effects stay wired the same way, you could just wire it allup once, name the mix channels accordingly and save it all in your starting template. Then you won't need to go through the list over and over again (or you coul...

Re: Some HW integration questions
Well the SSL integrates via the mix channel device. It is basically like an audio track, but has an audio input (which is where your rack devices would connect). It has an insert section, which you can use (via a programming Matrix just like the combinator) from the Mixer window. This is where you'd...

Re: Some HW integration questions
Hi Ad0 and welcome to the Forum. 1: I don't have hardware synths to control, but an idea on how this might be accomplished. Create as many external midi instruments as you need (that is one for each parameter you wish to control) and put them in a combinator (right click - combine) you can assign al...

Your End marker is right at the beginning of the song. Anywhere after the end marker no grid will be displayed. To change its position, shift click on the timeline.

Re: Reason 9.5 gets rated 10/10 by MusicTech
So you agree that he can score the perfect test and it's still perfectly fine for him to, for example, not be able to swim properly, or ride a bike? I do. So if that's a 10/10 test, and a 5/10 for riding a bike and a 2/10 for not being able to swim, that would be a 6- average. You're making t...

Re: Reason 9.5 gets rated 10/10 by MusicTech
If he's scoring 10/10 in a school test does that make him a perfect child? Either the analogy is flawed, or it proves the point that you can score 10/10 without being perfect, no? I accept that you don't rate it 10/10, and I wouldn't give it a 10/10 either, never been too big on the whole vst thing...
