I have the same issue. Carve would be amazing if it behaved as it should, but it doesn't. It's a useless device I'm afraid.
It has been reported and ignored.

for $29 a piece there's some value there. Does anyone know if the SSL channel eq and compressor cause any latency?
If so, how can you measure it? I do have the VMG for latency but I'm not sure how I would go about routing it up to measure the latency of the channels strips eq's and comps of an audio track.
