Is anyone using a midi foot pedal with Reason?

I want one mainly to make new track in the sequencer while i am playing guitar etc - is it possible?

How would i go about setting it up?

the only way I have found to do this is to copy and paste the 1 bar loop for the 32 bars. Then enter comp mode on each individual bar/clip and choose the appropriate audio.

In saying all this there are ways around it in Reason.

I guess it might be just a workflow thing for the way i like to record and make my tracks.
