Re: What are you watching at the moment? (possible spoilers)

Well. I've picked up some ideas from this thread. Just finished Halt and Catch Fire season 1 over the last two days and loved it. I just couldn't switch off. I'm already up-to-date with Orphan Black. Thoroughly enjoyed seasons 1 and 2 but rather disappointed with season 3. I hope season 4 gets back ...

Re: How do you organize your sounds?

I have a 250gb SSD just for Refills etc. I've created several folders and anything which is predominately Rex/loop stuff goes in one folder, Separate .wav files and samples in another and then a basic Refill folder. This one then has sub folders organised by Refill Dev : "Jiggery-Pokery", "Navi Retl...

Re: Remote Map Template code messed up on forum

OK. the initial issue with the spurious characters seems to have been solved, but the code for one of the Remote Maps seems to have been lost, either during the migration or during the fix. User gullum made a post on the first page on 29 Jan 22:50 with the code for Synapse Antidote. All the code is ...

Thanks for confirming. At first, I wasn't sure whether I'd over done the main meds or just lost the plot completely.

[SOLVED] Strange issue with the "What are you watching" thread

Ok. I decided I would see if this thread could give me some ideas to fill those hours when all I'm capable of is blobbing on the sofa, so I click on the title and it opens on what is identified as page 1 and the first post is dated 5th July. Now, I thought this was one of the threads pulled over in ...

Re: No sound with Balance

My guess would be that some drivers were conflicting. It seems that all usb ports work flawlessly at this point. I'm running onboard graphics drivers atm so we'll know for certain after installing drivers for GTX 970. nVidia drivers do have a tendency to screw up audio drivers. Heh, I'm still stumb...

Re: No sound with Balance

Ok, I got fed up and nuked Windows 7. I went with clean install of 8.1 this time that a friend gave me. He hated the thing. IT'S ALIVE!!! It plays everything perfectly now. In Reason as well as a default Windows sound device which I won't keep doing. Better to be safe. It would be cool if we had a ...

Re: No sound with Balance

Just a thought. You say this only seems to happen when you switch to Balance ASIO. I'm wondering what would happen if you remove the Balance Drivers completely, then install ASIO4ALL. I'm just wondering if we can narrow it down to the drivers. One other thing, just make sure that no other programs a...

No problem. I'll have a think about it and try and break my spare set up tomorrow to see if I can replicate it.

It might be worth drafting out a support e-mail to Props, just in case no-one can here can pin point the problem

Re: No sound with Balance

Yeah, I avoided blue ones from the start. I tried both of 2.0 and on Define R5 case there are two more in front that I connected with headers from the motherboard while putting the computer together and nothing. Although I can't hear any signal, Reason playhead goes very slow through the sequencer ...

Re: No sound with Balance

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks man. I've had a quick look at the web page for your motherboard and it looks like there are two USB2.0/1.1 ports on the back - The Black ones, not the Blue or the Blue and Black ones. There are also some available from the connectors on the board - These should be marked e...

Re: Is it possible to have the simplicity of ReasonTalk 'Classic' here?

The mock ups look pretty good so far. Personally, though, I wouldn't bother with the infinite scrolling, I find this really annoying, especially if there are pictures and videos posted that slow down the loading (The prop shop is a case in point). Getting to the bottom and have to wait for it to loa...

Re: No sound with Balance

Make sure you have plugged Balance into a USB2 port? Under Windows 7, if I plug mine into a USB3 port, it gives the whole "The lights are on but nobody's home" thing. Under Windows 8, it works fine in a USB3 port due to the way USB was coded. You may need to go into Device Manager and delete all ins...

JP has a CP-70 in his Retrospective refill. There also is one in RFSB refill. @arsenic AL Dark Piano ? Sorry, probably wasn't too clear. If you open The Alan Parsons Piano Refill and look in the "NNXT Sampler Patches" folder, there are two NNXT instruments in there. One is called "AP Grand Piano.sxt" and the other is "AP Piano Dark.sxt". I tend to drop these in a Combi and a...

Re: [SOLVED] "remember me"

When the cookie name was changed, it would have logged everyone out. So it happening to anyone after Kenni's post, was expected. Yes, it was expected. What I meant was that I had been logged out when Kenni had reset the cookie - so I reset everything at that point and tried again. It then happened ...

Re: Yamaha Reface series- What?

I enjoy most key sizes as long as the action is good. I use an weighted 88 key Studiologic board most of the time, but also use a DX100 and a Korg Microkey Controller and really enjoy the portability. Oh, don't get me wrong, I can fully understand the portability aspect - I guess, as I don't move a...

There is one thing I would really like in Reason and that is a good CP80, either Refill or RE. I don't know of anything off hand - Anyone got any ideas?

I wonder if this is something that JP would consider after he completes the Combo Organs

Re: looking for a good piano refill or re

Sorry, I had a thought. If you buy reason pianos from someone online, would they be able to simply give you the SN, register/transfer, and then D/L from your prop account? I've bought a couple from other people and it works like a Reason license transfer. The difference is that they aren't availabl...

Have you thought about the Alan Parsons Imperial Grand Piano? You know, I forgot I had this one. It's actually not too bad. I cleared all board cookies and the logged in again from scratch. Set the remember me on login and checked to make sure it shows up in my profile.

I spent some time here and then opened another tab to surf elsewhere. When I came back i had to log back in again.

I'm using Firefox 39.0

It's not just you. Mini keys suck. The MS-20 and Odyssey would have been so much better in full-sized versions. I was starting to think I was swimming against the stream on my own. Yeah" I got to try the Oddy and the MS20 and was totally amazed at how bad the mini keys were. They sounded great but ...

Re: Yamaha Reface series- What?

Well, Korg with it's MS-20 Minis and Odyssey seem to have a market , especially 'cause they are true analog. Roland with it's digital but nevertheless fully functional replicas too. But who should be interested in Yamaha's flattened digital reproductions?? Yeah! I know it's probably just me. I have...
