Re: Fritz Granular Engine is in the Shop!
Barely had time to play with it just need to say this is the most excited I have been about a RE in a long time, purchase will probably be a no brainer judging by the quick session I had. Can't wait to dive in - a video would be nice

Re: I've lost my mojo.
Wow man that's really deep. I ponder things I would have trouble airing on here but I appreciate why you are. I lost my mojo a few times and realised it was time for a break. We can't force this stuff, it has to come naturally. I can't recommend taking breaks enough, especially if you are at it all ...

Re: Reason & YouTube simultaneously
If I use ASIO4ALL with Reason then backround tasks have no sound, if I use my stock sound card and driver I can play anything and everything at the same time.

If you want people to go out of their way to help you the least you could do is provide a link to the song and the time the snare is hitting, pretty standard etiquette.

Minimize Reason, browse to your Refill with your windows browser, double click on it. You might have to do this each time.

Re: The Echo's "Env" knob
I think it might come in useful when doing crazy echo effects compared to standard delays, but even then it's almost too subtle. Never tried it till now.

Re: Rack Extension 'Desert Island' Mentality
I got to thinking back to my past Rack Extension buys - It seems I have a tendancy to buy Re's with an 'odd mindset' that I may be stuck on a desert island one day! Stranded, with only my computer and it'll 'ALL' come in handy then. Am alone here, or am I actually mad as a brush? I mean lets face i...

Re: Pet Peeves
The browse device by developer list - it's awful, just awful. The lack of a marker in the analyzer that can be set to a specific frequency. If I'm trying to decipher a frequency I am like 'Oh yeah it's somewhere between 640 and 1300Hz and it's kinda to the right of the middle so.....' Really annoyin...

Can you describe in detail what excactly you want to achieve and how you want to get there? A screenshot would be nice. Re: Post a pic of your studio!
P-clamps are cable management's best friends, y'all! I used 3M hooks that stick on to a surface which in my case was the back of my desk panels, they can hold the weight so all the power boards and everything are suspended and out of sight, with no dust build up. It was well worth the effort! You t...

Re: Using a gate on a parallel channel
Bit of frustration today with using a gate in the Dynamic section of the SSL mixer on a parallel channel, for some reason it seems to not work at all, except for the LEDs lighting up. I thought I was going mad until I took everything to a new channel and it behaved the way it should. Is there somet...

Did anyone else notice the abundance of gear but a lack of cables? I spent a day getting all my cables off the floor and out of sight (suspended behind desk panels). The original intention was to stop dust build up, but it has the added benefit of looking very sleek and tidy ;) http://i.imgur.com/Be...

Re: Scales & Chords, Note Echo and Dual Arpeggio
I don't like the user interface from Reason 8 I didn't like it either, but then when I upgraded I never even considered whether or not I liked it, everything feels right. If you upgrade from 7 there's so much new content and features, it's just a new beast to get used to. And besides - the Players ...
