@ Creativemind - Work in progress yup. Zenhiser Oldskool Hardcore Stabs http://www.zenhiser.com/oldskool-hardcore-stabs.html it has nearly all of them! @ Galaxy - It's Jungle. Was just pointing out Techno and Deep House producers have poached it. Another rarity with Vaughn Bode artwork. Like being o...

Re: Yawning in a gas mask
Oh that Anasthasia stab yeah it's deadly (got a WIP with that in). Would love to know how to synth that, as is I use the sample from the Zenheiser pack.

Re: Yawning in a gas mask
I have experimented with synth choir sounds in the low registers with Neutron and Polars buffer got some interesting results. Not sure what it is but these sounds appeal to me! can be difficult to match to other sounds in the mix I find though, need lots of filter action and/or sidechain pumping to ...

Get faster envelopes by routing and scaling the Amp Gain and Filter Freq by the Amp and Filter envelopes respectively. Is necessary to get those really snappy analogue sounds.

Re: When was the last time Reason had an honest to God bug?
@JiggeryPokery - Sorry for resurrecting the thread! Yes it was recent on version 7 my blue screen thing seemed to be something to do with the authoriser not syncing with the OS clock according to the logs.
Can remember early DRM bollocks doing similar things.

Yawning in a gas mask
Not a euphemism just a name I've given to pad sounds like this @ 1:36. Crops up in Techno and Deep House tracks, sometimes more breathy others more synthy
So how do you go about getting this sound? I've got close with LP detuned saws.

Re: When was the last time Reason had an honest to God bug?
Well the authoriser used to make my PC blue screen randomly when Reason was open for lengthy periods. It only stopped when I upgraded both Reason and the authoriser to version 9.
Took over 1 year with unchanged hardware to get to the bottom of that one.

Re: FM4 in the shop!
Got two bugs with FM4 on R9, Windows 7 64 bit, can anyone confirm? 1) FM4 does not respond to gate inputs from sequencers Redrum or Propulsion. Tested it with Reasons own synths and Antidote and they all work as expected. 2) When browsing combi patches an error window pops up and no sound is produce...

Re: Lectric Panda Generates Thor! [Free Refills]
The percussion sounds are great  Just noticed one minor problem, they work better when Mono Retrig is enabled instead of Legato so the envelopes retrigger with each note. Just pointing it out to help those using them, not trying to be dick and putting a downer on a great little freebie :p...

Re: if Reason 9 only changed one thing...
Come on more buttons and knobs for the combi you are thinking small. The clues are already there. I don't think Props are going halfway house this time. I predict it's going to be unlimited macro control modules (faders, knobs, jog wheels, buttons, muti-state controls). Hopefully you will be able to...

Yah not bad.
There's an awful lot of Synthwave that falls firmly into the cheese trap though!
This has got to be the best track on NRW:

Re: Reason 9 Officially Announced!
So these Players could be nested modular Combinators (grouped macros) they have a single header even when in a Combi! If audio, CV and Midi capable it would be possible to record scenes no, if they were not Midi only, are they Midi only?

Re: Zero Hybrid Synthesizer is in the shop!
Anyone got advice/tips on how to get usable sounds using RM with Zero, I'm seem to get noise or silence when dialling it in and not much inbetween! One general tip I have for messing with FM is to go up and down all the octaves, there can be some really interesting stuff hidden in the lowest registe...

Re: Extension ReFill - Revival
Ooooo yeah like this refill. Tis a fiddly synth to make sounds with, would certainly benefit from an update with recent SDK improvements, although I doubt we will ever see that! Seems like a preset designers dream, as most users I would guess will find it difficult and time consuming to program qual...
