I have a friend who owns the Electribe 2.
He has some trouble syncing his electribe with his volca beats.

He want to set it up so the electribe is the master and send out start/stop MIDI messages to the volca beats.

Can someone please explain in simple steps what he should do/check?

Just upgraded my TR-8 with the 7x7 expansion pack.

So much going on in this track. You discover (!) some quirky thing every time you listen!

I'd turn the outer space broadcast ringy thingy down a touch. It's a little abrasive. Everything else is great. Cool little bass line and groovin beat with the synth swells. Honestly though I can't listen to the whole thing with that high pitched part so loud. You are not the first to mention that....

The track title got me interested! So that's already in the pocket!

I really like chill out music. So I enjoyed it quit well!

What really stands out is the drum track. I feel that it carries the whole song.

When you are not inspired and thinking music it’s not worth anymore what are the songs/tracks that inspires you and serve as a model to be reached? Ooohhh how foolish of me! Though I stand by that Global Communication remix there is yet another one that gets me so inspired! And that's Karen Carpent...

Thank you Giles! :) Wanna do the same for the Tape preset? ;) I'll pick it up and do the frequency response for other MTRs than the Ampex (from the same source ;) ) I submitted three tape versions, Ampex, Otari, and MCI IIRC. I can find these and re-create them as Combinators if anyone is intereste...
