I've never read Reaper forum. Actually, I rarely used Reaper, I didn't like it. I bought it only because of playing my VSTs and it was cheap. My main DAW is Reason and Reason forum is a place where I go for knowledge (sometimes Studio One forum).

Reaper used to launch updates every 1-2 months in the past. But last time it was updated in March. I don't need it anymore, since Reason supports VSTs. I'm just curious.

I've uninstalled Reaper and Ableton Live Lite already. However, I'll keep Studio One 3, mainly because of its mastering page (which was the reason I bought it).

I haven't tried it yet, because it's too tempting. I own all of JP's organs which are great but I have spent a lot on Melodyne upgrade and other software and I expect Reason upgrade this year. But one day.....take my money.

I use ASIO4ALL for a couple of standalone VST instruments when I need to run them along Reason (Reason uses Cakewalk's own ASIO driver). I'm on Windows 10. No problems with ASIO4ALL so far.

Half racks are not redundant for me. I often use them within a combinator. Especially UN-16 Unison for synth pads. I save their bigger brothers (RV7000, MClass...) for mixing in SSL mixer.
