Re: The new Instrument, "Objekt" is coming in May

I think they are referring to a new legend of zelda game. I would not have had a clue either if my youngest boy had not asked for it for his switch. Ah, I see. I thought it was a new prog rock album or something ........... from Swedish rockers 'Tears of the Kingdom'!! :? Hmm, I think we might have...

Re: Reason 12.6 Released (Apple Silicon, Offline Mode)

The Apple Silicon version of Kitchen Sync was missing, it should work now if you try to sync again or reinstall it! Please make sure to run the latest version, 1.1.0. Done! But now when I launch Reason, it tells me that Strontium 90 (Audio Poison) is the problem. And when I scroll through my REs in...

Re: Robotic Bean - Portatron Tape Synthesizer (VST3)

Today we released Portatron 1.3:
  • SEMI and CENT settings per track
  • Repitch handles on audio clips to repitch them while resizing the clip (for easy beat matching)
  • Various graphical tweaks
The update can be downloaded here.

Re: Reason 12.6 Released (Apple Silicon, Offline Mode)

OK so I've done Sync All a bunch of times, and manually re-downloaded a bunch of REs, and now when I launch Reason I get a dialogue telling me that one RE is broken - Kitchen Sync by Josh Levy I've manually re-downloaded Kitchen Sync but I still get the error message on launch, and Kitchen Sync doe...

Yes, actually trying to open them is probably your first step. Second step would be to ask the forum. ha ha ha I wish you luck. Waiting to hear back from you with good news. That update didn't do anything to recover my broken songs. Still crashes. Bummer! If 12.6 is unable to repair your song, plea...

Re: Reason 12.6 Released (Apple Silicon, Offline Mode)

And how is CPU hit for Intel Macs? Same performance as before? The arm64 (Apple Silicon) version of Reason is a separate binary, so the Intel version should run like before. But during the course of Reason 12 development there have been significant improvements in parallel audio processing performa...

I still have the problem of plugins that open in tabs workin in full screen mode, Have you checked the "Prefer tabs" setting in System Preferences --> General? I think that might affect the behaviour of full screen windows. and now I've also lost the Roland Cloud plugins (they don't even show up in...

Yes, if you're only using Reason 12.6 you can safely remove Codemeter.

Does that also mean, they have removed Codemeter?
Yes, Codemeter is gone, and beta versions (of both Reason and REs) should now start up without requiring you to log in every time.

I’m still using several vst’s which I know won’t be updated. But it’s nice to know it’s there. Surprisingly I’m not having any issues with Rosetta except Mimik needing specific buffer settings. I can’t bring it down to 64. Even on native mode. But i am on the MacBook Air m1 so that could have somet...

Is there a more detailed write up on how the new authentication works somewhere? Can I still open reason on my PC and my laptop or will it only auth once? You can log into Reason on several computers and will support up to 40 days of offline support on each one of them. If you're a perpetual Reason...

Re: Display.lua and context sensitive menu for knob

What actually happens in Complex-1 when you switch to "cable mode" is that all the knobs and switches in the main area of the panel disappear (using a visibility switch), and that area is replaced with a single, huge custom display. So all the knobs and other widgets you see there are actually drawn...

I'm assuming Objekt will work on R11 (except for any included combinator patches of course which will most likely use the new combinator).
As far as I know there aren't any REs in the shop that requires R12.
Yes, the current RE SDK is compatible with Reason 10.2 or later.

Re: Dice Analog Synthesizer Rack Extension released

Shouldn't the center position instead indicate the value of 0 for the pan settings ? Yes, it should. Rumble K2 Builder has a pan knob ranging from -50 to + 50 and the default is set to 0, the middle position. However, when you automate the panning on the K2 Builder, you will notice that the automat...

Re: How to implement a "Run" button

The trick is to implement the Run button as a custom display. You can hide that fact either by drawing fairly realistic display graphics (the RS approach) or by covering up the display with static decorations that change based on visibility switches (the Robotic Bean approach). As you've already con...

SIMD is available in Jukebox, even though the syntax looks a bit different:

I used SIMD pretty heavily in Resonans, it made the modal resonator mode way more efficient.

Can you switchback to non-beta? I perform live and feel a bit anxious to do that with a beta version. Obviously it's not much of an issue when practicing. The new offline mode works in Windows, too! Although Apple Silicon support and offline mode are tested and released together, they are separate features.

So if you sign up for beta testing on Windows it's very helpful!

For those cases you could increment the product version and rebuild, the entire cache for that device should be invalidated then.

That forum is closing because it's running on very old software that is getting harder to support. And migrating existing posts between two completely different forum platforms is very difficult.
