I might be missing the whole point here, but do you hear pops when choosing impulses in the browser? If so, just turn autoplay off. It previews wavs which are meant to "pop".

It works here on Windows 7 64 bit.

@Mattias Cool update. It would be much appreciated if you would allow us to change Reason theme into something mellower like Cubase or Logic. Give us an option to choose between bright or smooth so traditionalists keep enjoying default one. People with sight issues would be very grateful. Also those...

Wow, even as a crude mockup, the second one looks really good. Such a shame that PH don't share the same opinion. It's almost a rule for me to have an eye strain with current colour theme.
