That's because, as explained a million times before, Reason doesn't use Hyperthreading for realtime audio generation. It uses it for disc i/o, high quality stretch and resample, and GUI stuff. Ok, the extra computer is build with an i5 3570K, which is the direct i5 version of the i7 3770 which i already use, so ideal for comparison tests. The single core scores are about the same, only the hyperthreading gives it a higher final result on the i7 imho. I'll let you guys know how the stress ...
