Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
Wow! What an update. I’ve got over 30 instruments and it works with every single one. This is why I bought the P1.

Re: Step Note Recorder question
I scored this recently.. and I just dont get it haha. Maybe its because i havent used it in proper playing conditions, only 'writing' MiDI into the sequencer. Not a criticism of the device, as the functions in the demo video looks amazing. I guess Ill spend some more time trying to understand it. G...

Welcome to the Nektar club :) Great little machines... I just got my P1! I'm pretty excited! welcome too Thank you. So far, so good. Seem simple enough. Do you have any recommendations on how to set up F keys? Meaning, what do you use as your most important functions? I know how to set th...

Can Reason do 16 levels like an MPC?
I like using Dr. Octo Rex for my samples but I want 16 levels as well. Is there anyway to achieve this with 16 levels of tuning? Or is there an RE for it?

Re: Anyone used a Nektar Impakt?
Hi I have a P6 and while in some ways it is a great piece of kit, in others I would say to really spend some time to see if the Nektar was the right thing for you. Keybed is noisy as hell, clicks & clanks on every press & release. The rotary knobs are getting sticky, they work fine but the rubbery ...

ny update to Meteora? The LFOs seem to be useless Thanks for your info about this problem. At this moment into Meteora - TB-line LFO work fine as you can try. Other LFO sections of another lines - work too - but they linked to ModWheel. Try to use ModWheel... We make some small changes and addition...

Re: Blackpole Station Polyphonic Synthesizer in the shop
Hi bpmorto , You talk about various levels of patches. Its true, some patches have various levels. But as I understand - your problem in Filter sections, Cut/Res Envelopes. Try to work with this section and you can get needed results. At other way, take one concrete patch and write about problem wi...

Re: I still LOVE Reason
When all I used was an mpc and motif rack, everyone I knew told me I would really like Reason. I was not really into software at all so I never bothered with it, until my son took a digital music production class in 7th grade. He loved it, and asked me to buy it for his birthday. We got it for him a...

Re: PX7 for $49 until 4/24
But keep in mind: people pay this much and more for ReFills. Even if you aren't into programming it or exploring ReFills for modern PX7 sounds; it offers so much value in the presets it includes and the ability to tweak sounds. Try using the macro controls and just flipping through algorithms on di...

Re: Solaris In the Shop
I have nothing against "flat design" for itself. You can't compare Windows 10 which as a complete flat design (and designed for phones before computers) and Reason which has a realistic design and philosophy (like a real studio, with wires and everything...). I've used Ableton Live in the past and ...

Re: Need input on buying a used Macbook pro, or building a new pc
Does it have to be a laptop? Older Mac Pro's (from 2008-2012) have upgradable CPU's. OWC has a upgrade package, or it can and has been done diy. http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/turnkey/MacPro/2010_Xeon_Processor http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_pro/faq/mac-pro-mid-2010-westmere-how-to-upgra...

Re: Need input on buying a used Macbook pro, or building a new pc
Ok, based on what I'm hearing, the big issue is CPU strength, which is at present limiting you to playing bigger files for longer times. If this is the case, more RAM or an SSD drive will not make much difference here. You'll need to a faster/bigger CPU for that, something I do not believe is possi...

Need input on buying a used Macbook pro, or building a new pc
Ive been told the older MBPs can be tweaked with new ram, sdd, etc. Never used Mac before but everyone I know personally says they are very good for production type things whether its music, videos or pictures. I don't want to spend over 2 gs buying a new one, which can't even be upgraded after purc...
