I do a lot of recording of all sorts of things and I can't see an app being better for manipulating sounds than a DAW. I'd say far better is to spend a few quid/bucks/whathave you on a recorder so you're getting high fedelity 24 bit/96k. Then you can do what you like with em.

I don't get why the default is orange. Used to be powder blue when auto colour was switched off. That was better. But what I tend to do is see the orange as temp. Once something is fixed on a track I change the colour.
Thing is lookng at the other colours there it could have been worse!

Yeah, I totally agree. Sort by developer sucks. I have no idea who made this or that RE, nor do I care when I'm in the middle of something, but I need to know this now. Plus a load of RE's that I don't spot and mess around with. It was a bad idea fars I'm concerned.

I'm on a 13" MBP using Better Touch Tool, which allows you to program gestures in to switch very quickly between rack/seq/mixer. Can't recommend it highly enough.
