Try connecting to Fol/Env instead of Trigger and lower the volume on the incomming signal and also lower the modulator gain on sweeper.
Also experiment with the release and volume on the incomming signal.

Press F4 to use the built in on screen piano keys, there you can click hold and then press a key and it holds the note.

Why not use Kong and recycle in that, works the same way
