Re: Kushview Element - free open source VST3 to VST2 bridge for Reason
So if I've got this right, I can use Element to get Scaler 2 playing other instruments in Reason? Can someone explain how to set this up? I've been futzing around with it, but can't get it to work I have used Scaler 2 and I have had multiple midi channels working from it.. it will be along the line...

Re: Kushview Element - free open source VST3 to VST2 bridge for Reason
I have get an error in Reason, if I open a midi port and assign a channel with Elements, and try to open the same midi port with Reason's Midi Out device on another channel it throws a midi port busy error. Does anyone have the same thing? Works for me, I think this is what you are doing? (I'm runn...

Re: Kushview Element - free open source VST3 to VST2 bridge for Reason
I would say mainly on the Midi side of things, also yes for VST3 as well however that point will be mute for a lot of people soon, I will still need\use it as I just stated for the midi side of things.

Upload the file to a file share (google drive, dropbox, wetransfer) so I can have quick look at it. Thanks for the response! Here's a link to the file via Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MjAGCS8pejcnxWEJVprEHaQubWW-idMf?usp=sharing That file blends it self towards a grab map b...

Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
I'm hoping someone can explain or point me in the right direction on the basics of actually how these remote maps work. I have read through a bunch of the posts on this thread and watched several videos about the maps but I'm just not understanding how it works. I was assuming that if a VST is mapp...

Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
Hello, I'm new to Remote Maps in general, but I've been seeking a way to map my Nektar Aura to Reason Rack Extensions without Nektarine. I've done some searching around the internet for a solution with some helpful leads, and now I've landed here in the hopes of some assistance. I found a Remote Ma...

I have a done a video (or 2) on how to autoplay the patterns, so you have 8 patterns * 32 steps = 256 steps..

Re: Re: Reason 10 & above, 2 BRUTAL "benchmark" songs included
One thing that doesn't feel 'right' SUPER long load times (need to get to the bottom of this). The first song took 2:26 to load, which was longer than it could play without errors (1:48 for the first song in the default settings, 1024 buffer, 44.1 kHz sample rate). Just an FYI... I had issues back ...

Re: Reason File Locations: a handy reference
Anyone know to what extent these paths can be redirected by means of file-system-level shenanigans such as symbolic links? Me, i would just buy a more capacious disk, but some people would rather do things like install Reason on an external volume because their boot volume is getting full. Yes they...

Re: How can I get MIDI CC from my MIDI controller to NI Kontakt?
I am trying to do the same but with Omnisphere VST. It doesn't receive MIDI CC, only modwheel and pitchbend, and is annoying because 1: I have many patches with a "user CC" maped to CC16, and 2: I can't use the option of "Remote" of reason because I have to select a paramater in Omnisphere and ther...

I'm still not getting sound from EZDrummer 3. Any suggestions? Fun with the Chord Sequencer (Generative)
Chord Sequencer is a fun device with great results. Just started this little project, all running in one combinator, the stack data flow is done via the Midi CV- Converter.. I will build on this project a lot more... What are you doing with your Chord Sequencer? https://youtu.be/ZUoFkDloax0 and anot...

Re: Reason File Locations: a handy reference
This thread massively helped me fix Reason 12 not running and just stopping at the login prompt with no indication what is going on. VST Rack just loaded an empty generic parameter list. No errors anywhere. c:/user/music/Propellerhead Content/optional devices, optional refills missing will bring Re...

Re: Sequences 1.4 - With Per-Note Conditions!
Any chances of expanding the timing options, like 1/4 Time and/or changing the rate options to make Sequences play even slower? I believe the slowest I can get it to play is 16 bars. Would love to get it to loop for at least 32 bars. FYI: You can get 32 bars, 1/4 + half tempo + condition, it's a bi...

Yes it seems to. Loaded fine but haven't used it yet. Thanks a lot! Is it working fine with your P1 ? The last P1 mapping file I released already had Friktion in it. here's a funny, I wrote the mapping blind (someone else came up with the specs) as I did not have Friktion, I have owned Friktion a c...

Re: Reason Sale: Upgrade to 12, get all players for Free
Yes Good, than I'll do the upgrade. I have R12+ at the moment(until april), I have no interest in these soundpacks etc., besides the new players and the last 2 new instruments I have purchased every RE from RS, got R11Suite too ... so, for me it seems a good deal. Update on 12, 3 new players (round...

Re: Reason Sale: Upgrade to 12, get all players for Free
The only one of those Players I don't already own is BLG, which I can grab with Rewards for $24. And I already bought the R12 Upgrade before the price jump. So, I guess I'll just wait until R12 finally advances out of beta status and gets released as R13. You mean when R13 is released you will star...

Re: SAW-1 on sale
I wonder why the combinator patches are for Reason 12 ?? they are basic combi patches which could have been left in the original format.. It is not possible to save R11-compatible combinators from R12. The developer had to resave all the combinators with the new version of SAW-1, and probably doesn...
