Great idea. Object would pair extremely well with machine learning patch design a'la Synplant 2, in my humble opinion.

Re: Zero Hybrid - different sound behavior in R11 vs R12 ?
Here are a couple of work arounds:
• Play a couple of notes of unequal length and the operators will unsync after a while
• Delete and undelete Zero (this will randomize the operators)
• Change the setting on the operators from other than free running, and then back to free running again

Re: Zero Hybrid - different sound behavior in R11 vs R12 ?
I could reproduce this quite easily in Reason 12. I believe this has to do with the operators and that they, for some reason, lock in phase after reset even though they are set to free running. It is likely that this is related to what buddard is mentioning, but it seems that when you reset the devi...

Re: Q: Best Service Engine 2 in Reason?
I figured it out, for some Reason it installed the 32-bit version of the plugin where the 64-bit was supposed to go, and vice versa.

[SOLVED] Q: Best Service Engine 2 in Reason?
Hi,
Recently purchased a sound library based on the Best Service/Magix Engine 2. It is a 32/64-bit VST 2.4 but it doesn't show up inside Reason.
Been trying to find info online what the problem might be, but not sure.
Anyone in here have experience of Engine 2 in Reason?

Re: Reason saw osc
Sorry to dig up an old thread, but there's something I am clueless about; Why does the Europa wave tail off in the highs? This is especially evident with a low note Saw Wave. Instruments like Thor and Synapse the Legend do not do this, and their saw waves look like saw waves. The only way I can rep...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
Then turn the Dry/Wet to 100% dry on the Bass Sweeper and then adjust Mod->Volume to negative values (this is where the actual ducking happens). Not sure if you were aware, or maybe I didn't understand you correctly, but you don't need to use negative values with Sweeper. If you set Mod->Volume to ...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
Yeah, that's actually what I do mostly, esp with VST. I copy the kick pattern to a Redrum that triggers the Sweeper. But have you tried using Sweeper to convert to a trigger? I’m aware you use triggers TO Sweeper, was asking about using audio to trigger Sweeper to specifically avoid the extra step ...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
I don't always use a ghost kick, and I guess the more correct term would be trigger. Like I said it depends on the source material, if I for some reason can't trigger from the kick directly (i.e. because I use a VST that doesn't offer gate outs) I can use a Redrum that follows the kick to trigger t...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
My preferred approach is to use an output bus for the tracks I want sidechained. I create a Sweeper effect insert in that bus and configure it the way I want. I use the Gate output of the kick of either Redrum or Kong to trigger the Sweeper envelope. Depending on the source material I can choose to...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
Well, as always there is not just one method to get from A to B. Sidechaining inevitably often lands in pumping EDM land, but you could tweak to make it more subtle, by not setting the volume/amp modulation to max, if using the sweeper. Another thing to consider is EQ, like you mentioned. In this Al...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
Here's a simple example in R12 song format that I threw together just now. I use a pretty steep curve to over emphasize the effect but you can adjust it to your liking. Note that I'm using Sweeper set to completely DRY as I don't want the effect to color the sound, I only use it for the volume/ampl...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
Is there any advantage to using sweeper vs synchronous? Or is it just a different workflow? I am guessing i am not fussy because i generally get the effect i need using synchronous. If I understand correctly you have to paint the sidechain in Synchronous, which might be tedious if you are not sidec...

Re: How to sidechain in Reason, exactly? Is there an easy way?
With the above approach you can send any channel you like to the Sidechain channel, so it's great if you want to add the sidechain effect to several channels at once. You just right click the channel that you want sidechain on and choose Route to... and then select the Sidechain channel. In this tes...

Oberhausen is based on the Oberheim SEM, just like GForce Oberhem and Arturia SEM V. Obsession is based on the Oberheim OB-Xa/OB-8, like some other software emulations The Oberheim OBX8 is a new hardware synthesizer that is based on the OB-X, OB-Xa, and OB-8. There is no software emulation of it cur...

Have you tried experimenting with Parsec? Parsec has some similar stuff and it does have audio in for processing (like a vocoder). If you have Parsec that is.

Re: Must Have Rack Extensions for Trance Production?
Antidote is a great choice in my opinion. Great sound, great effects, easy to work with, and not too heavy on CPU. eXode what happened to all your refills - I can't find any on the store. Did you by any chance do what TP did and release them all for free or have you moved to another place? They are...

I like the chill vibe of this song, especially the second half of the song. Were any of your prior refills used on this or all new sounds? Thanks. These are all new sounds as far as I can remember. There are two custom piano patches (based on FSB), one octave piano and another kind of lo-fi piano f...
