Re: modular modules
I think something like Reaktor or Bitwig's the Grid would be cool. Although it would be radical departure from the typical Reason style. One possibility is the ability to make a monophonic synth patch in a combinator, then select an option that would make it polyphonic by making 4, or 6, or 8 or how...

Ability to put mix channels inside a combinator
For instruments with multiple outputs I would love to be able to make a combinator with each of the different outputs going to its own mix channel.

Unexpected Thor Behavior
I have a patch with a State Variable Filter in Filter slot 3. It is set to HP 12 mode with both the frequency and resonance set to the minimum setting, Drive set to the default 64 (this doesn't seem to matter), and all the env, vel, kbd knobs set to the minimum. When the "Self osc" is button is sele...

Re: arturia augmented piano cpu heavy
Both the other augmented instruments are extremely CPU heavy. I can get other plugins to use as much CPU as the average augemented strings/voices patch, but I have to go out of my way to set every quality knob to maximum and set a huge maximum polyphony and set a massive unison detune.

Re: Please help me understand Music Theory + Chord Sequencer
Tons of resolutely non -experimental music: top-40 hits, stuff that sounds cheesy and completely not "embracing dissonance", will have chords or melody notes that aren't from one scale. Here's a video that explains "secondary dominants" one common way that songs have a non-diatonic chord: https://yo...

Disappointing there still isn't a way to put the different "snapins" within the feedback loop of their delay.

Re: NI Kontakt 7
Kontakt 7 doesn't offer much new and doesn't fix issues. It's mostly a new browser that is separate from the library side pane. You can't view the new browser and the Kontakt rack at the same time, so it makes things difficult. You can't size the browser and Kontakt rack separately. The size of the...

The ability to slide MIDI clock or MIDI from players ahead of the beat
Yes, you can "offset" the midi clock out in sync settings, but it doesn't allow you to do that *nearly* enough. I want to press play on the Reason transport bar, and it first sends out MIDI clock and starts sending any MIDI going to external MIDI and then an adjustable number of milliseconds later s...

Re: Delta 1.4 Update Out Now! (50% Off Sale)
Now that it accepts CV, it would be cool if you could scale parameters via CV. Or a CV-controlled chance switch where a minimum CV value at the selected CV input all the incoming MIDI events would go to the first output, and as you increase the CV value there'd be an increasing chance incoming event...

Optional pop-up window for the Dr. Octo Rex slice edit mode
If your rex file has lots of slices they can be very small on screen when you are trying to edit the slices in slice edit mode. Would be nice if you could simply see that screen bigger in a separate window.

Just adding a sensitivity knob for audio slicing would be a meaningful update for Reason.

Not surprised, but disappointed that new chord sets are going to be released as Reason+ packs and not updates to the device itself. Tips me over into not buying it.

Re: weird player behavior
Hm, playing around a bit more perhaps what is happening is that dragging them in or deleting them while the sequencer is running causes some quick doubled notes right when I dragged it in or deleted it. I was using the clock divider in Delta to only play certain notes in the sequence in a way that p...

weird player behavior
Using Kompulsion and the new Delta 1.4 in line to make a sequence and then apply some polymetric changes to it. So far so good. I found that sometimes either adding or deleting players that shouldn't've made any difference (like the Andrew Russell Denote or Selig Audio NoteView with no transposition...

Re: weird complex-1 lfo behavior
I'm unable to reproduce this - is the external routing causing it or does it happen for you on a simple internal patch? Does it happen when you use a MIDI controller, or only when using a Player? Noting I try makes any difference in LFO rate… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsSS7mLfsCs I am trigger...

Re: weird complex-1 lfo behavior
Now I'm getting the LFO to change speed depending on whether or not I've selected "LFO" in the oscilloscope input menu. If I've got "LFO" (or "Inverted LFO") selected in the oscilloscope input menu, the LFO speeds up when it receives a note, and slows down a little bit after the note. Other selectio...

weird complex-1 lfo behavior
The speed of the LFO seems to change based on whether or not sound is coming out of complex-1 or not. Monitoring this on both the built-in oscilloscope and by plugging the LFO output to "EXT CV out" and looking at it on Compare CV scope. No note pressed: LFO is slower. Press a note: LFO is faster, a...

Re: Reason Studios Chord Sequencer in the shop
Playing around with it, I definitely agree it could stand to have some more dark/downbeat sounding chordsets. Im curious about what you mean when you say "dark" ? I don't have the device but I'm assuming minor chords are what your looking for possibly ? Or is it the colour coding/choices that are s...

Re: Reason Studios Chord Sequencer in the shop
Hmmm. I don't want to piss on anyone's chips here, but I'm not feeling this one at all. I feel locked into a weirdy narrow set of parameters, and everything I do ends up sounding like a yoghurt commercial or the sort of music they play in upmarket shopping malls. Needs a couple of hundred more scal...
