Re: Will Ryzen make AMD great again?
Hi Guys, I am thinking about buying new PC with Ryzen 1700, 16GB Ram, SSD Disk... My polite request on those of you who already own PC with Ryzen (1500, 1700, 1800): Would mind posting results of stress test https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=7263897 on your PC setup (please specify CPU, R...

Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
Running the demo now. This synth sounds really good but CPU usage is ridiculous. I usually don't hit the glitch zone until I get heavily into the mixing process and realize I forgot to bounce some mixer channels. Running a fresh project with only ReSpire and this one instance instantly hits 3+ DSP ...

Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
what means "preview edition"?? I think they planned to continue in development of the synth to cover full integration to Reason, but with VST coming to Reason 9.5 they decided to speed up the release and release it without CVs and maybe other interesting Reason specifics. Anyway from sound perspect...

Re: ReSpire RE back in the shop - Still on sale!
I went through maybe 100 patches, so far no problems. Did not test automation however where the problems were according some users. Anyway, I have to say, if you are EDM fan, BUY IT !!! NOW !!! :-) So far best patches I have heard in any synth in Reason (an I own almost every synth in Reason incl. E...

Re: Blamsoft and eXode present VK-2 Viking Synthesizer
Is it just me or is this beast a serious cpu hog? "With industry leading DSP and audio rate modulation, VK-2 can be quite CPU hungry. There are several switches that allow you to turn down the quality of individual algorithms. VK-2 is designed for recent desktop computers." :) Exode, could you plea...

To spread some more rumours: Maybe Steinberg is going to buy Propellerheads?! Just take a look at this site: https://www.propellerheads.se/employment and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Now take a closer look to the right picture in the top row... What do we see there in the shopping bag of ...

Re: Your favorite Reason Refills for synths?
From many refills I have, I always have fun with Vengeance THOR Soundset Reason REFILL. It is incredible what they managed to get from Thor. Simple, raw sounding EDM patches which will blow your speakers. You can actually learn a lot about Thor inspecting routing and settings within patches.

Re: Does Buffre ever go on sale?
Hi, It was on sale during Black Friday in 2014, I think I bought with 50% discount and it cost me 49 EUR. I agree, PEFF does not make sales often, and current price is overpriced for what it is and offers.Aquila wrote:PEFF, I love you but I cannot justify $85 for Buffre. Does it ever go on sale?

Hello, thanks for the information. Would you consider to put your Refill Master Bundle on sale too ? I know that the bundle itself has the 30% discount, but some additional price cuts are always welcome. I would by it for 60 usd :-). At the same, would you consider creating some kind of signature ed...

Hi,
check this link: http://www.nektartech.com/panorama-reas ... s-list
139 of Res supported now and the last update was more than year ago. I have asked them when they plan to include new REs, but I got no answer yet.

Re: Drum Synthesis or Rack Extension
Hello, I am sort of new to Reason (haven't been around since version 3-4), and back when I used the system, Redrum was the real drum powerhouse. I am getting used to Kong's drum synthesis patches, but am wondering how users here feel about these tools when it comes to making your own drum sounds? I...

Hype is good, but only until certain time towards release of a product. Stretching nerves of customers too long can lead to the opposite effect, like loosing patience, etc. In other words, do not hesitate to upload complete pictures of those so called great devices :-) Posting just 20% of the image ...

Re: Windows 10 compatibility
No official statement from Propellerhead yet, as they typically don't test new OS until the OS in question goes retail. That said, I haven't had any trouble on Win 10 with Reason or Balance. Been running for several weeks now. Thanks for the info, I am glad to hear that even Balance works fine on W...

How to create a ducking reverb ?
Hi guys, I would like to ask you how to create a ducking effect on reverb in Reason using just stock devices ? I am looking for the same effect like you can find on Echo device (it is controlled by the ducking knob). Is it possible to create it with RV7000 or RV-7 plus other devices inside combinato...

DSP when using Driver and FM4 synths
Hi everyone, I would like to ask for your experience when using RE synths Driver and FM4. Both synths are brutally heavy on my PC performance when playing some patches. I found that it is connected with polyphony and long amp release. Switching to mono drops DSP instantly to more comfort level. Espe...

Re: Preview and beta call for new Ochen K synth
Hi Ochen K, you are now in beta, so I do not know if you are able to make changes in GUI but if yes, I have couple of suggestions which would complement your base idea that the synth should be easy to program and understand. 1) I would make smaller display of oscilator wave and instead enlarge knobs...

Re: Are we due a new props RE?
I would rather invite following things: 1) new combinator with more knobs, buttons, multistate buttons, more options for programming... a dream would be an empty wokstation with various slots where you can put anything from reason to create a super synth which would have its own knobs, buttons.... 2...

Hi, I have contacted Nektar support and received following answer: We do plan to update Panorama's Reason integration but I can't say when it will be ready. Currently we are working on updating our Logic integration (which hasn't been updated since July, 2014) and Bitwig integration. Hopefully we wi...

Any info on Nektar Panorama updates ?
Hi guys, does anyone have any information about Nektar Panorama firmware updates? It is long time since Panorama keyboards were updated (in Oct 2014). Since then many REs were released and I think it would be nice to control them via Panaroma. Especially synths like Quad, Vecto, FM4, Driver or Synap...

I do not about shop rules for developers, but one of reasons why were both REs erased from shop might be the fact that probably nobody is able to provide help support for them anymore (as the developer has died).

Audio to MIDI in Reason
Hello everyone! I would like to ask if it is possible to transfer audio to midi using any devices in Reason. Is it possible to do it even just visually if not directly to midi notes - e.g. to see exact detected semitones which are currently played in audio track ? I mean visually like in Neptune. Th...
