Re: Objekt has arrived!
Objekt is possibly the most interesting synth I've seen to date, but I'll be glad when this marketing push for it has finally dropped off.

Re: random cv OUTPUT on gate
Here is a combinator based on this method. Really nice I can now use a stock device to this. I have the random on gate simutaneously going to three sources: pitch, subtractor phase and filter. What did you end up going with? I don't have access to Reason right now to try it out, but I'm a sucker fo...

Re: bipolar to unipolar CV transformation (using thor?)
Both methods produce the correct top/bottom values - it's the center value that differs. I'm not sure which is better - your method works but centers the bi-polar value at 64, but ljekio's method also works and centers the value at 63. For reference, the Combinator uses 64 as it's knob center value...

Re: bipolar to unipolar CV transformation (using thor?)
BTW, @ljekio just want to say you have a GREAT way of doing the Bi-2-Uni using a Rotary at 64 - totally gets around the minor issue of being stuck between 79 and 80 on the Amount control for exactly "50%". I'll be using that one from now on, thank you very much! ;) A minor gripe, but using a rotary...

Re: random cv OUTPUT on gate
A single instance of Thor or Little LFO (free; highly recommended) can do this quite easily. On Thor, set LFO 2 to stepped random mode, turn its rate down to minimum, activate key sync, then route LFO 2 to a CV out via the mod matrix, and route that CV out to whatever you wish to control. To make it...

Re: Kong Gate CV out to Thor Gate CV in question
However, I was curious as to how you could get the midi information recorded from a cv out to a cv in I hope I'm not misunderstanding you, but that's what I was describing with my suggestion to use RPG-8 or One-Note Stand in my previous response. With the arpeggiator turned off, RPG-8 simply acts a...

Re: Kong Gate CV out to Thor Gate CV in question
If throughout your song you're only using one note for the sub, you could either tune Thor itself to that note using the octave & semitone knobs on the oscillators, or you could use a one-step pattern in a Matrix to send that note to Thor's CV input. If you want to use the sub for an actual bassline...

Re: DVC-1 licenses giveaway
Yes, please! I'd love to understand this in more detail, didn't think CVs would be so much fun! No problem, and absolutely. The true power of Reason really is in CV, and it can be very rewarding to carry some wild idea into reality --and sometimes to fail in the attempt, but there's always somethin...

Re: DVC-1 licenses giveaway
I've given it a go. It's basically an auto-EQ thing. I routed the audio to BV512 (into the modulator in), and once the EQ was activated, I used CV out from band 4 to trigger auto carving out of ~480Hz in the MClass EQ. Also, if the high bands were not high enough (i.e. if CV value was less than a g...

Re: Current Rack Extension Sales (updated May 21)
Is that a sale price on the filter bundle as well? If so, what is its normal price? In the title on the filter classics it says "Sale! Was €59/$59. Now €35/$35. Save 40%! Sale ends 15 June 2016." So yeah, its a sale price ;) I think its a great price. I remember paying 19 on each of their RE's when...

Re: Current Rack Extension Sales (updated May 21)
Is that a sale price on the filter bundle as well? If so, what is its normal price? Yes. Not sure, but i think 59 is the normal price and 29 for each filter. Nethertheless, do you think 35€ is too expensive for 3 filters? Not at all, but so far I don't think I've purchased a single RE or bundle tha...

Re: Autofilter RE recommendation
Is there an auto-filter RE that any of you would recommend? I've got a couple decent VST/AU auto-filters but would like one to use when just working in Reason (i.e. not slaving ReWire to Logic). Thanks! You looking for something Pulveriser can't do? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Something more s...

Re: Quick bassline help
Basically I want the gate pattern i (randomly create) in the Matrix to be the rhythm and feed that into the gate CV(?), whilst the same instrument will take its notes from the main sequencer. I thought I could just draw the notes in the sequencer, attach a matrix to said device but only have the ga...

Re: Quick bassline help
I would like to create a quick random 32 step pattern, where the gate is either on or off, (so all values in a Matrix would be fully on/off). This would create my bassline and then whatever device I used for the sound for the bass and whatever note came in on the sequencer would follow this 32 bit ...
