Re: POLL: Do you want video support in Reason?

I still think they should concentrate on more fundamental needs, e.g. freeze, super-combinator, chord/scale feature, latency compensation. After that I appreciate implementing video support.

is it allowed to automate paramters, e.g. a knob on the FX Combinator or does it need to be static?

I liked the second more which means ABL is better than the 303 :)

You peak at about -4db which means you could make everything at least 3db louder if you want without clipping.

Good. But then again I am into Post-Rock big style so I am a bit biased. :)
Also production-wise it sounds good.

King of Kongs ( http://www.jiggery-pokery.com/kok.html ) if you are into "old" drum machines. It is a steal for 9 pounds.

oh and what is also cool. if you master one device, you more or less mastered all of them. The octatrack is maybe an exception and more different than the other machines.

Re: Anyone got Elektron?

I have an Analog Keys, the Monomachine and the Machinedrum. What I can say is that is it much harder to produce a finished track like you would in Reason. On the other hand you can play 24 hours straight live without preparing any sounds or melodies which would be very hard in Reason. The music I pr...

Re: Etch Red Dual Filter is the most powerful Filter in REASON today !!

was sup satyr32...I would say run some test. For example use the native REASON filter the ECF-42.Filter a sound at 12db while that sound is playing push the 24db button..and use your ears and "hear" what it does. As a matter of fact a better example would be to use THOR. Use a SAW wave add a Low pa...

Re: Poll: Which of the two 17 second vocals mixes sounds best?

I like the Side more. The mid punches to much in my face for my taste. I assume there are more instruments/drums to come? Then it maybe needs this punch to cut through the mix.

Re: Etch Red Dual Filter is the most powerful Filter in REASON today !!

To be honest I am a bit intimidated not by the modulation options but by the number of available filters. I know there is a difference and I can hear it, but it is hard for me to know why I decide to use a 12db S.V.F, 12db Japan or a Fatty. Differences are sometimes very subtle and in this situation...

This is standard spectral synthesis. There is software you can draw in into the spectrogram or load images into it.

Exactly the same opinion. Also ElectricPandas Spectrum has the same issue.
I sometimes add a super loud sine at the HZ I want to cut, so I can see better see where the frequency is, but is very tedious.

Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread

Good job! Everything now works fine and as it should. One thing is now missing though. The button where you can switch delay direction (Forward or Backward). In your first version it was implemented, but labled wrong as "BBD" Button. I think there was a confusion because one element is called "Delay...

The lowest dsp delay I think is Synchronous if you only use the delay. Also 3Plex and Titus are very light.
Regarding reverb Softube Spring Reverb is surprisingly low.

First I want to thank you Lizard and indeed all the other guys who do an amazing job. Now Titus: First, there is a small mistake. The button that is now labeled "BBD" on the Panorama display is attached to the Direction: either Forward or Backward. The solution here is simply name it e.g. "Direction...

I would be very happy if someone could map Steerpike or at least Titus. I tried it myself but could not achieve something without error. I think I am using the wrong text editor (I am on OSX).

Although your critique is justified I still prefer the Props model to Adobe. At least it is (not yet) subscription based. If they intend to do this in the future I leave Reason and will never look back.
