Re: With RV7000mkII, what reverbs do I still need?
DR-1 is a must in my opinion. Instant lush reverb. I also have RP-Verb which has the most parameters of all reverbs, I did not regret buying it. The Softtube reverb is indeed also nice, but CPU usage is too high so I would pass on this one depending on your computer.

Re: so what did you score this black friday ?
Synapse FX Bundle
Softube FET Compressor
Synapse GQ-7
Devastor 2
RE 128 Loudness Meter
PMS-20 Analog Filter
If the EVE EQ Bundle is available (which is not atm) I might get it too.
And maybe but only maybe ReQ181 if only it would not be that ugly, especially the colors.

Re: Problems with MicroTune
Phantoms Fingers, in case you dont know yet, there is a bug: If you go in with CV Note, the CV Note Out spits out wrong notes. Never use the Note Out. Solution (e.g. you use Matrix, MIcrotune and Thor): Split the Matrix CV Note Signal with Spider. One goes into the Microtune the other directly into ...

Re: so what did you score this black friday ?
I wonder if anyone could get the bundle for 11.
Sure it might be unfair to the developer to misuse what was probabilly a bug, but somehow i wished i could get it for that price

It is 10 years old and for me still the best live set. The monomachine and machinedrum gear rocks.

Re: Can I run Reaktor synth modules into Reason 8.1 Essentials?
I always use Reason and Reaktor independently of each other, because I feared the pain of setting them both up. Thanks for your step by step tutorial, I will try it out tomorrow. I mean Reason and Reaktor combined – what could be more splendid.

(Nu Disco/Slow House) Elevator Disco
Usually I am more into dark and melancholic music, but cause today the first snow fell and the sky was grey I worked on a more uplifting track to fight against oncoming winter depression.

There is also the VOLTSH-1 device that has a sample and hold module. Feed it with a unsynced saw lfo.

Fake 96db/octave EQ
Since GQ-7 is the only EQ that can do 96db per octave, is there a way to achieve it or at least approximately achieve it with other EQs?

Re: Wish List
Your concept of a mastering mode is interesting. I am always dreaming of another mode, the "connection mode", a new view mode that shows all devices and audio(cv connections in a very simple way, similiar like in Reaktor. If you have lots of devices it would be so much easier to do new connections. ...

Re: Ambient Chill
This so much reminds me of old µ-ziq and Jega or also early Arovane, totally the same vibe. For me this sounds not odd at all and there are thousands of musicians that have a similiar style, in early IDM there is a lot of material you could use as mixing reference. Personally I think your track coul...

Reason is kind of already this device with Combinators and CV, sure it is maybe not that convenient. Falcon can probably do things Reason can not, but Reason can for sure also do things Falcon can not.

Re: Syntax: the art of balancing what, when, and what's between
Here is what I can recommend, I think for some people it will be an eye opener: Take a track that you really like. Glue some paper sheets together so you have one paper that is large in length, so you can draw a timeline. Now draw a grid, I prefer 8 bars, but you can also do 4, 2 or 16 bars. Listen ...

Re: Free update to Distort Chain
It is maybe "just" a minor update, but for me the most valuable change are the parameter displays. I just hate it if e.g. a frequency knob gives me a value of 43%. Thanks so much for this free update. Amazing customer service

Re: The Refill format is dead!!
I hate it so much that it is not possible to sort (by name/date/...) what you put inside a favourite folder on the left tab in Reason. I have to sort it manually which is crazy if you for example put 200 Hi Hats in a folder. And you cannot create a folder inseide a folder, i mean how hard can it be ...
