Re: Latest GForce Software OB-X synth
I tested it with the init patch, 16-voice poly, and reproduced what you've illustrated, and I have no muting problem. I also inverted the notes (held note on top, staccato notes on the bottom) in case there was some sort of note priority thing going on. But no problem there either. (I'm using R12, ...

Re: Latest GForce Software OB-X synth
Image and few audio files attached: This shows what I played on the keyboard. Please note how the C2 note...even if I hold it for 4 bars, it gets muted half way. Test 1 is what I get when playing the OB-X inside Reason 12. Test 2 is what I get when playing the stand alone version on the OB-X...which...

Re: Latest GForce Software OB-X synth
What do you mean by no release? The release knobs in the filter envelope? Turning it all the way to the right? I tried it, I couldn't tell because I get too much distortion by the time I get to about 6 - 8 notes. I have a low grade laptop good enough for Reason, but something like playing too many ...

Latest GForce Software OB-X synth
I have downloaded the latest OB-X emulation from GForce software. https://www.gforcesoftware.com/products/ob-x/ Very nice indeed...and there are additions to the original Oberheim that make the vst very capable of producing a wide and very interesting range of sounds. (See Xlfo and Xenv) The only is...

Re: Big Doubt!! Respire? O Spire original Vst?
Not "long enough" Expanse user...and almost no experience with Spire/ReSpire a part from playing a bit with both demo versions...but sound wise they are both impressive. How does Expanse score against Spire...from a long term user POV? I am tempted by ReSpire but at the same time I try as much as I ...

Re: eXpanse needs a Morph Oscillator
After few hours with Expanse...feel like I have to "withdraw" my comment about the envelopes...they are more than snappy...they are super snappy!
They just work slightly different from the easy knobs type (ie. Antidote, Spire...)

Re: eXpanse needs a Morph Oscillator
Well...every addition that can make this already wonderful synth more amazing than it is...it would be more than welcome. Just bought Expanse during May sale...and I wish I had done it before. But...considering the more than capable modulation options at OSC level...plus the ability to load custom w...

Re: Using NNXT Sampler
You know what would be even cooler ? If Reason allowed users to build macro's. In the example of this topic about samples, we could actually make banks 'properly' with the activation of a single key command ! I was thinking the same while trying your example  There is another thing next ...

Re: Using NNXT Sampler
I see, and I agree ...especially when you have to do the same process over and over again...even few seconds less can be determinant...and with the Polar workflow you can automate everything without manually change the pitch every time. I do not work in music...but I do apply the same principle in 3...

Re: Using NNXT Sampler
Hi, I am not that much into sampling but this captures my attention  It is clear we need a better sampler...with time stretching built into the device without the need of workarounds... One thing is not clear...why using something different (Neptune or Polar) when the transpose function is wo...

Re: Antidote update - what's new?
+1 Same problem here...P6 mapping disappeared...?! Yes, the pots and faders looked better in the previous version - I wonder why they changed it? But, worse, my Nektar Panorama P4 does not have any working mapping anymore! :( Not sure if you use the ReasonTalk mappings but I have updated them so bo...

Not sure about that...but what about shadows on knobs...???
Is it the same? ...or the new GUI appearance is some way more flat?
Hope just my impression and happy to be proved wrong

Re: ReSpire, resized
Ahhh, Yesss!!! It would be nice (assuming that it is nice to comment on other people design...)...to bring back the dark tone from the VST. Not sure about the long list of submenus name`s inside the EFX window...it looks nice with the yellowish tone...but the list is probably to long. Maybe the way ...

Re: God I love the Legend (Positive rant)
Ever since I first got this synth I'm reminded again and again how much I love it. I just think it's the best sounding synth I've ever tried. Big, clean, beautiful, gritty, dirty, warm, squelchy. It does it all. It's so simple yet so powerful. I love it's limitations. No extra fluff. Playing around...

Polyphonic synth with Distributor or other
Hi! Just added Distributor and Legend to my Reason Rack lately and playing a bit with some possible ideas. As we know Legend can be mono/unison or 4 voices polyphony. I`ve already tried doing an 8 voice synth with 8 Legend instances (mono) and Distributor and everything working as expected. What if ...

Re: Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger is simply *THE BEST* VST synth on the market IMHO
..and I just do not need only a "techno machine"...more interested in a cinematic type of sounds.. I don't think VPS Avenger will fill this roll as well as something like Omnisphere (which is awash in cinematic and atmospheric choices). I finally managed to download VPS demo and play with it...and ...

Re: Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger is simply *THE BEST* VST synth on the market IMHO
Yeah..only a close demo can give me the answer. On paper it looks like alot of flexibility...and of course no mean to compare with an NNXT...I just want to see if "sample loading wise" this beast can just load a waveform and then process with filters and effects...or can add all the complete set of ...
