I use ableton and Reason in rewire. Reason is like a big external vst for ableton in this case. Ableton is The master or host and Reason the slave. Download the ableton and reason demo for try, it works really well with no latency.

Agree, reason or ableton stock sounds are really cheap against Logic. But in Logic each sound is like a combinator with lot of effect and layer. And with Alchemy now It's a dream ! Each daw have some great features. I sequence in Ableton and use Reason in Rewire and MainStage ( Logic) with the IAC m...

You can use ableton And Reason in rewire . Work great Lot's of fun and lot's of new features ( clip sequencing reason, control cv in ableton clip etc etc )
