Export A-list drummer sequences to midi?
Has anyone successfully done this yet? I really like the a-list drummer patterns, but do not really use the actual drum sounds. The CV gate outputs all post to the same note... so the only way I have been able to achieve this is to use the drum machine (a-list) - map each gate to an external midi in...

Re: A-List Guitarists updated to version 2!
We really need this for the A-List Drums... i find myself always having to look at the rack to see where I am at..
Maybe i should cough up the dough and get an 88 key
49 is not cutting it anymore...

Re: Get rid of the bright coloured clips!
i just color code things specific to their bus.. I use the bright colors for the buses and move them to the far left of the mixer, so my P1 can control the faders in one 8 chan bank

Oberon is an amazing synth
I finished RTFM last week and have been playing with this super versitile synth. Is this the only RE in the rack that has spectral morphing? if you havnt played with it yet, check it out. I highly recommend reading the full manual on his site first. https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/oberon-synt...

Re: Notepad
Having the ability to add notes to a BLOCK or Sequence would solve the problem of needing notes for specific periods in time.
In the video world, most of the software in that space allows for this. I think Logic allows this now as part of their latest release.

CPU usage per track
Having a CPU usage graph per track would help me identify heavy DSP tracks that should be bounced. This becomes a real pain in the ass when your are 20 tracks deep and need to keep latency low for midi recording, but cannot figure out which track(s) to bounce to free up some CPU. Prop's Please make ...

Re: Mac Book Pro + OSX + R9 + Balance?
Check your CPU usage.. I am having an issue where reason is only using 3 of my 4 cores.. and then I clip when DSP maxes out. This is with and without my Balance btw. 1 core is used for display rendering, 2 for DSP and one just sits idle.. drives me insane. In all fairness, this seems to be an OSX is...

Re: Subgrouping Drums on the ID8
I would do it in a Combinator and keep it in a mixer there so you can save it as a patch Program the notes for each drum in the combinator.. then you can EFX all you want... Yes, it eats more CPU.. but you can save it as a patch and have it for future use. ;) I built one real quick... see screenshot...

Since i recently found out about the Subtractor's ability to unscrew the screws in the rack, I was interested to see if there were any other known easter eggs?

Re: is it just me or is editing audio in reason a total bummer?
At the beginning, the Comp Edit looks overwhelming. But comared to other DAWs like Reaper it's much more clear what's going on. Maybe this video can help a bit. It covers most of the things you can do in Comp Edit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Yc9m9psH00 First 4 minutes of this video solves the...

Re: I need to start choping samples with hardware and I cannot find any solution, going in circles
Yeah, it's in another league. Their default FM synth Operator is so lush and thick. Reason's synths sound thin and abrasive. I don't know how they manage to achieve that tinny sound. I'm a big fan of electric pianos and I'm dissapointed with Radical Keys. Rhodes is supposed to sound like butter, bu...

If it is the social networking discovery type affair. I am a bit perplexed as I wasn't entirely sure discover caught on.
