Re: Announcing Reason 13
I swear it feels like Ryan Harlin is the one who keeps Reason Studios on the map. And I don't mean that in a used car salesman sort of way. But it's just the way he can articulate the vision of Reason Studios He's the best at what he does!! Maybe for you. For me, he's just a PR person. Yes, a good ...

Re: Re173 Preamp & EQ
Demoing this and it sounds good but there is a digital squeaking / crackling as I change settings. I think there needs to be some smoothing on the controls as this is something I've encountered when beta testing other REs. Reviving this thread. I don't hear any squeaking and crackling. That must be...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
@supersmarter, it's possible. Wait are you trying to tell me it is possible to load specific patches from A to B, keep B for example, and then load something entirely different in A and then morph? If that is true, if I didn't misunderstand you then shiiiiet my weekend just got better... :c...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
If not you may be able to use the crossfader from the new r13 device in a Combinator possibly. That would be mixing two already-defined signals. So you have A and B and yo can crossfade between them. Morph feature in Polytone is different. It "morphs" parameters. So something 50% between A or B doe...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
It’s something that’s been around for a while, the latest hardware synth to do it I’m aware of is PolyBrute and the first I knew of was the Yamaha AN1x released in 1998! You’re basically just crossfading values for each knob, so if it was 0% on one path and 100% on the other, a 50/50 morph would se...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Polytone - The option to "morph" feature seems stunning. It would have been amazing and weird to be able to "morph" between say a pad in A and a bassline in B. ReasonStudios is it possible to load a specific patch in A and then a specific Patch in B? That would be a nice twist. Something like that i...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
We are not talking about the same thing, as this new browser is only for patches and sounds. I'm talking about the device browser which stay as a separate window on the left side of the rack/sequencer. At least up until now we've been able to create custom groups which you could use to categorize d...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Removing the ability to detach the screens from each other would be such a weird choice that I really don't think this is something we have to worry about. What is making me continually more worried is that we still haven't seen any evidence of favorites/custom groups in the device browser :? I sea...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I apologize for not reading through 23 pages of comments to find a possible answer, but any word on midi-routing and midi-chase? If you mean using MIDI from VST plugins - No in this release. I don't know anything about the chase though. What worries me by seeing the video just released with Ryan sp...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I'll pay 150 EUR no problem. If it is 200 I wait for the sales on upgrade. I spent nearly 4000 EUR throughout the years with them. On upgrades and since the introduction of RE. So this upgrade won't destroy me. I just want Reason 13 to make coffee for me. And I will admit to myself in advance. I'll ...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I noticed they gave us an instrument, an effect, more sounds, even up dates in the sequencer but no player. Could that be in the big reveal. There's not anything else to reveal. There is no new player. Forget about that "we hide things and then we make people happy" that is the past. These days it'...

I think the most addicted users actually travel to the Superbooth and visit the Reason booth :-) And what happens at the Superbooth, I am quite sure, is on the Internet as it happens. Yeah sure. In the times of the internet, inflation, and major disparity in economic and social classes one has to t...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
If you think the Reason community complaints about the R13 announcement are bad, you should go read up on Ableton Live and Logic Pro forums. You talk about negativity and whining about new features and so-called bugs. I've never seen it this bad. Maybe that is the nature of forums these days. Peopl...

Re: horizontal piano roll
I think this piano roll is a terrible idea. Don't be upset it is just my opinion. Likely rooted in the fact that all other DAWs I ever played with didn't have such a feature. I am honestly discouraged at looking at it. I can understand someone else might feel completely the opposite.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Decompressing and Decoding Compressed Audio Files takes additional computational work if done in real-time, unless the DAW converts Compressed Files to WAV on import. Cubase will convert compressed files on import, for example. So will WaveLab. Samplitude Pro X defaults to doing this. Lots of DAWs ...

Different Pan Laws exist out there. Selig Gain tool covered it. There's even a nice Combinator that uses specific pan techniques and I can't remember the name of it now. Unfortunately.

Re: Announcing Reason 13
Based on previous releases, is there a typical time-frame from a new version's announcement to the Beta testers receiving it? Eager to try out 13👍🏻 Reason Studios will be at SuperBooth the coming week, and my guess is they'll start the public beta after that. They certainly will be showing R13 ther...

Some kind of patch converter
Is there some sort of patch converter that could convert patches from Ableton Drum Kit into say Kong Drum Kit?
I've found a patch converter that can convert old AKAI into NNXT and such but I am more interested in something that can convert TAL-Drum, Ableton, or the MPC kits into Koing kits.
Anyone?

The thing is I dont want to add another device just for low / high cut, 2 simples knobs that are very easy to implement in the device I have noticed the feedback filter but I cant seem to view the actual low and high cut off knobs (frequency cut off) If I select low/high will the freq shift / offse...

Re: mDSQ - Lectric Panda Micro Drum Sequencer in the shop!
Purchased. Even though I believe this product is complete and no further development will ever be made, adjustable step length per part would be a killer feature. Now it is global. Sure I can stack several mDSQ and have the same functionality. One question though. When I add Redrum and stack several...
