Re: Mac shortcuts
Sorry, I've not got them anymore. I've moved over to running Windows instead of OS X as I've found I get far improved Rack Extensions performance under Windows. You should be able to tweak/experiment with the original script I posted here by changing the numbers of items referenced. I used this app ...

Re: run two different versions of reason on same computer, two simple batch files
There's an easier way to do this, using a Hex Editor one can edit the Reason binary for version 5 and search for the following stuff to change: Search for a specific instance of Preferences and change that to Preference5 Search for .favo and change that to .fav5 This will now result in Reason 5 usin...

Re: Wake up guys...
Bitley, The sounds in your product are of exceptional quality, but your website and especially the jpg graphics attached to each Combinator in the ReFill do not look high-end enough. This does affect people's purchasing chance when watching YouTube videos and also perhaps subconsciously can affect t...

Re: UJAM's involvement with the A-List series
Good news! If you're able to get the Bypass simply on the front end that'd be best, as it would save a bit of CPU if the amp modeller part of the rack device isn't running at all!
Keep up the good work!

Re: Buy Reason 8, Get 9+7?
I've found the licenses to be backward compatible on an Ignition key, even if Online authorisation doesn't work.
Downloaded Reason 6.5.3 once to try it out and see what had changed and my R9 license on my ignition key loaded the Reason 6 app as licensed
YMMV

Re: reason 5.0.1 stopped working
Do a Time Machine backup and then reinstall OS X anew. Something you've installed has created a conflict. When you reinstall everything onto your clean base OS X, do Reason 5 first then keep trying it inbetween each piece of software you reinstall until you work out what breaks it.
Good luck!

Re: UJAM's involvement with the A-List series
Peter,
Just seen you posted in the A-List Studio Drummer thread that it has been updated with Mutes and CVs! Great news!
Is there any word on whether the A-List Power Chords and Pop Chords are anywhere closer to getting new versions with Amp Bypass output on them?
Cheers

Re: Pitch editor; preview audio?
Melodyne operates like this for sure. However, I've only just joined the R9 beta programme so I'm unsure if this was behaviour in an earlier R9 build or if you've got mixed up with Melodyne usage

Re: Players Design Opinion
I think the horizontal padding of them is on purpose to differentiate that they aren't audio devices and instead sit somewhere different above the actual instrument, altering its MIDI input. Perhaps attached at the top rather than directly to the rack. It does take some getting used to that the fold...

Wow, it's gone mac vs. pc. Just...wow! And, I'm out. But I had to rip a new one since it went there. You didn't rip me a new one. The amount of ignorance about Apple, Microsoft and especially Linux within supposed-IT circles is unreal. They all have their strengths and they all have their weaknesses. Once people have actually used all three properly, they often reach similar arguments. I've found that many argue, once they've ...

Re: can't drag/drop midi from EZdrummer
It's definitely a Windows thing. It could be that the Registry is messed up for the MIDI drag drop handler or something. The only other thing I could think is that you have a mismatch of user processes in terms of accounts. You haven't got Reason or EZdrummer/Solo running as Administrator have you (...

Re: can't drag/drop midi from EZdrummer
That video shows Reason 6 (32-bit) and 'Toontrack Solo' (also 32-bit) as host. Are you running Reason 8 (64-bit)? Perhaps the drag and drop from the 32-bit app to the 64-bit Reason window maybe isn't compatible somehow on Windows? You could try using the x64 version of Toontrack Solo or if you're al...

Re: How hard are you hitting the Limiter?
In my experience, Reason needs a rack extension limiter like Ozone RE or an external limiter applied, like FabFilter Pro-L, to bring tracks up to the industry standard level of loudness without too much noticeable distortion.

I've always stored my ReFills in there since Reason 2.5 onwards and have never had any problems, ever. Your comments are nonsense. 1.
