I get to 50 seconds with my brand new system:
Intel Core i7-6700k 4Ghz (not overclocked)
32Gb RAM (DDR4, 2100 mhz)
Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 disk
Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 external USB 2 soundcard
Windows 10 64-bit
532 samples

It must be something like that. It works for now, until Propellerhead fixes this. Thans for your great help Gorgon!Gorgon wrote:Probably has something to do with how Reason handles multiple CPU code and the difference with how Windows handles multiple CPU code.

Re: Brand new PC (Core i7 4Ghz) with Focusrite Scarlett 6i6: Too slow!?
Setting the CPU limit to 'None' indeed solves the problem. Which is weird because I can't imagine this song putting this machine's load above 95%
Windows' performance monitor shows that the load almost never gets above 30.

Re: Brand new PC (Core i7 4Ghz) with Focusrite Scarlett 6i6: Too slow!?
The CPU is an Intel Core i7-6700K indeed. Settings: - Windows: Power options to 'high performance' - Reason: 'use multi-core audio rendering' - Reason: 'CPU usage limit' set to 95% - Reason: 'Buffer size' set to 133 - System: CPU cooling: Scythe Mugen 4 PCGH My song has 19 instruments, which otherwi...

Midi controller nr of Thor Pitch Bend wheel
I can't find the midi controller nr. of the Thor Pitch Bend wheel in the official 'Midi Implementation Chart' http://cdn.propellerheads.se/Reason8/Manuals/Reason_83_MIDI_Implementation_Chart.pdf Is it at all possible to control that wheel by midi? I would assume so since any old midi controller with...

Then you can adjust the key range for each instrument in combinators programmer That did the trick, thanks! that is key range splitting of multi instruments not multiple instruments playing at once as in splitting the midi to seve...

Re: Play multiple instruments at once (split midi?)
But they should go to both instruments. So overlaping the keyranges should do the trick?

Play multiple instruments at once (split midi?)
How can I play multiple instruments at once? Say I want to play a Thor and a Malstrom with one keyboard, how can I route midi to both instruments?
