Re: (House/Tech house ?) Sambal
Love it!
Got my groove on!
I like the bassline in the start with that ‘dancing’ lfo.
That horn sound that comes is at 1:30 fits the mood very well. Played live or midi or some player/arp?
This is a track Stephan Bodzin couldve made.
In my book thats a compliment
Lovely percussion towards the end.

Re: (EDM Rap x Club Banger) Instrumental "Blood Sport"
Great track! I love the sounds you chose. Good use of both stereo and mono field. Sounds good on iphone and headph as well. Ppl get very good at mixing and mastering nowadays. Is it the yt turorials or are you an engineer yourself? 😉 Seeing the track title and thumb i expected something more agressi...

Re: Wav to RX2
SOLVED! Thnx guys for your time! I guess I made the mother of all rookie mistakes. I loaded the sample in the programmer part of Dr Rex instead of the upper part with the 8 slots. Now it sounds exactly like the 160’without any quality loss. Me happy and yes, you guys may laugh at me. Have a great Ea...

Re: Wav to RX2
Yes I did.
Changing the speed with the speed knob also changes the pitch.
And if I use the pitch knob to correct that, the pitch goes higher but the tempo also.

Wav to RX2
Hi guys, I’m having trouble and could use some guidance. Using v12, latest update. Theres this 160bpm loop i want to change to 144. No matter what I tried, it just doesnt sound the same as the 160 loop. Artifacts, this particilur timestretch sound from 90s dnb era, and pitch variations. All the thin...

Re: RTFX | Dystopian Places [Electronic]
dope track and has a nice dark mix. sounds like early techno and electro. love the visuals. how did you make that? and care to share your YT algorithm findings? I need to grow my channel as well and also starting an extra beat channel soon. Right now I use genre identifiers + type beat instrumental...

Re: RTFX | Dystopian Places [Electronic]
Ive got something for you to hear! Its not a ftf. It has vocals. Its got a kickdrum, a snare and breaks. It has a lead, pads, two acid sequences and trippy visuals. Oh yeah: 147 bpm😀 Dont mind the description of the vid; Im learning to understand and use Youtube’s algorithm to my advantage😉 https:/...

Re: Arp not in sync after export to wav
This is just a suggestion (it has worked for me once or twice in the past, though not consistently). Insert an empty bar or two at the start of the song. This might give the arpeggiator a chance to 'think' about what it has to do before it actually starts doing it in the export process. If this wor...

Arp not in sync after export to wav
Hey guys, I have a track with an arp sequence right from the start. Its a 16 step sequence in the Predator by Rob Papen. After exporting the track to wav, the arp misses the right spots and is messy. This is a couple of steps right from the start; lets say the first 4 or 6 or so. After that its all ...

My point exactlyPropellerhands wrote: ↑10 Feb 2024I hate this "feature" in Reason too after spending more time in Ableton and realizing how crucial it is to consistent/fast workflow. Clicking everytime "stay on top" is cumbersome. It should have an option somewhere to keep all plugin windows on top unless defined otherwise.

Plugin not staying open
Hi guys, I work with two screen monitors. One for the seq, one for the rack. Why is it that when i open a plugin window on the rack screen, it stays open when pushing play on the seq and when i drag this plugin to the seq window (which is right in front of me) it closes after i pushed play. It close...

RTFX | Mouthbreather (dnb/jungle)
Some breakvibes for u guys! ///This track is not mixed and mastered according to todays standards. And there was no AI involved in the process. Its not polished, shiny, slick and perfect. Instead, its grainy, raw, lofi and kinda gnarly. The break was heavily used in the early 90’s breakbeat era. The...

Hey guys, How can i route the elements of a drum loop (k/s/hats) on an audio channel to separate audiochannels? Why? For example to put a phaser on only the hats and not the kick and snare. I dont want to turn the audiofile to midi so i can use it in rex. Is there another way besides bouncing the sl...

I like the track and the vibe it has. Tbh i myself didnt get that sad feeling you prob were after. Did u get it yourself? I didnt study any music theory but i know it has to do with certain music keys. Was your track in the ‘right key’? I know for example those guys from Bicep hit that key in severa...
