Re: Roland Cloud
Fotizimo, if you're going to buy just one, I'd say the SH-2, then maybe the Promars. I'd love the System-100M, but maybe another day. I'm also looking to pick up the D-05 having played a friend's D-50. I just spent the last two hours playing with the SH-101, SH-2, System-100, and Promars... and I r...

and for those looking to buy individual Roland Plug-out VSTs, here is the link: https://contentstore.roland.com/aira/ The special price for the System-1, System-1m, system-8 owners is typically $50 USD off the shown price. I am not sure if you can buy other Roland VSTs included in the cloud offering...

Re: Roland Cloud
Just download the trial version. I have a System-1 and a System-8, and manage the presets using the trial version as a librarian. Roland even suggest this on their website. Can someone explain the difference between System-1/Plugout and the Roland Cloud stuff? I tried looking it up online, but I wa...

Re: Roland Cloud
I will have to pay $480 USD (sub for 2 years) just to "own" the Juno 106 and Jupiter 8. That's almost laughably too expensive for what you get, IMHO. We're in Omnisphere 2 range at that price point... Or you could look at it from the point of view, that for $480 USD for two years, you get access to...

Re: Roland Cloud
On the scale though they keep adding new devices near every month and in the end you have a huge library that you pay for $20 a month. I'd prefer pay though for each synth and have a third if not a quarter of the content but have synths I'd actually use. I want the D-50, the Juno-106, the 808 & 909...

Re: Your go to VSTs that work well in R10,
I have a few REs that i start almost every track with for laying down initial ideas, but once an idea comes together, these are the tools I love using: DS Audio - Thorn (Great leads) U-He - Bazille (This thing arpeggiates like no other) Waldorf - Nave (The ultimate pad machine with almost no CPU cos...

Re: Meteora Sample Based Rompler - free for 1 day
Haven't had a chance to download this, but am wondering if anyone knows how big the download would be as this is ROMpler? I have never bought a ROMpler before so I have no clue what the file or its corresponding refill would be.

So I will be coming up on my 12 month soon, and plan on getting the System-1 VST as part of the year rent to own part. As an owner of the System-1m hardware, this VST allows be to backup, and manage presets onto my computer, and in DAWs other than Reason, I can use the hardware as a physical control...

Re: Has Rack Extensions been a success and what do you think REs future will look like?
Sure. The future of Reason - in MY opinion - should not rely HEAVILY on niche Eurorack devices because it is a VERY small piece of the pie Propellerhead are baking. You want to turn Reason into this boutique Eurorack collective and I vote NAY because in the words of those Bud Light Commercials - "F...

Re: Question regarding reports of performance issues
So here is how I am looking at Reason and it's performance for me. - For the last few years I have run Reason from v8 through 9 until now at 10.2. - I have the exact same Surface pro 4 i7/8gb/256ssd running win10pro. - Projects I created back in v8 had no VSTS, and I have examples that pushed things...

Re: Has Rack Extensions been a success and what do think REs future will look like?
I think you will find two types answers depending on if the person is a customer or developer. As an RE customer, I could not be happier with the products we have got. There really are some world-class instruments and effects that we now have access to. I just fear their days may be numbered if we f...

Re: Basic, but good quality video editing software?
Run, don't walk, to get the free DiVinci Resolve video editing software. It's full featured, including full Fairlight audio with VST plugin support. It's almost a DAW on it's own (no MIDI tracks), and it's color correction is world class. Some will argue it's video editing isn't world class, but wh...

Re: Rent-To-Own in the Propshop!
Honestly, this is what I have been waiting for from PH in regards to their shop. I am tired of waiting to for sales, so if they can get some third party REs behind this, I will be the first on board (I don't actually want/need anything currently available).

Re: Roland Cloud
I have been a subscriber to their cloud for almost a year. They have a few unique elements of their cloud offer which I like, although in the long run, they are a bit expensive. The first, is that after every year of membership, you get to keep one of the VST instruments as your own. They are really...

yes... I buy a lot as well... and yes there seems less out there... it is a concern :exclamation: Yeah, I cant believe there hasnt really been all that many covering the new PH REs such as Europa and Grain, as well as a load of other new REs from third parties. I do not know of a single refill base...

Re: Guys what is the best cpu for reason?
Only slightly faster than the first generation, and the low latency audio issues are still present compared to Intel (which doesn't suffer from the memory controller approach AMD uses to join their Ryzen/Threadripper dies). This review is for the newer Threadripper 2's, but the same issues plague t...

Re: Are you still interested in ReFills?
refills are great... unfortunately they get pirated too much... must be a way to stop it somehow... stop hurting developers From my time working with Refills and such, I would say that Refills are a lot less pirated than generic sample packs from distributors such as Loopmasters. There are a lot of...

You are shopping at shop.propellerheads.se and are looking over a picture of a beautiful synth, and without thinking, instinctively reach for TAB to take a look at the back of the thing.
