Re: Proton Granular Synth!
 So, i imagine ONE knob (maybe called BOOST)... Or SQUASH? I like the idea of being able to squash the signal by boosting the quiet parts of the sample, like an extreme one-knob version of Selig Leveler! It turns the sample source into more of a "texture" to work with, basically ignori...

Would an effective compressor / limiter be welcome in the FX section for this Proton ? I want a compressor with makeup gain between the sample and the emitter Sent from my XT1575 using Tapatalk A breakout on the back could be very interesting. Between what and what? Between the raw sample and the e...

Re: RE: Re: Is it just me or have KiloHearts' prices gone a bit steep?
Maybe they've realised that everybody only buys anything during sales, so they want to have a stronger position to go to sale prices from, inspired by the vast number of sales of One I suspect they made when it was 19. I find it truly insulting when companies try to play headgames with their pricin...

Re: RE: Re: Proton Granular Synth!
Hi, Wait a minute. Proton does not actually store the sample? No, Rack Extension patch files refer to samples. I believe all devices in Reason that use samples do the same thing. Best regards, Gustav Well that sucks. I completely understand the idea of saving a large patches with many samples in a ...

Re: RE: Re: Proton Granular Synth!
Hi, Hey, a question: When I load a sample into Proton, is there a 100% settings, so the played sample sounds exactly like a raw sample in a browser? No, the entire point of Proton is to mangle your samples. :puf_bigsmile: Best regards, Gustav I really like what Proton does, but IMHO there should be...

Re: Audio Editing Wants (Pt2)
Sometimes users start off on 1 platforms such as Cubase and then they switch to another platform, and then there's growing pains because the terminology has changed. And they can't find the term audio warp in the reason manual. Instead of understanding these effects and features by their trademark n...

Re: Audio Editing Wants (Pt2)
Did somebody seriously suggest that they want an effect that allows them to maintain the same time and Pitch? So in other words no change to the audio? I have an idea don't use reason and the pitch in the time won't change. It's called the no affect. If you don't use any effect it will maintain the ...

Re: RE: Re: Mixing outside the box.
I am currently using a Venice F32 mixer to get everything into reason. Everything works perfectly. What i would like to do is send everything back out of reason, through the board, to use the board for mixing, EQ, etc.. while i can easily see where to assign which of the board's channels attaches t...

Re: RE: Re: Can you figure out this behavior in Reason
Thanks Selig - I wouldn't never find the problem by my own. The loudness is not right right now - because I had that PRE thing making things different. The reason why I have two limiters is because I can get a bit more loudness that way. After brickwalling I can add few more db to my sound - withou...

Re: Using the NN-19 as a granular synth (solved, patches inside!)
There is so much more that could be done with granular capabilities. Not only could they make a synthesizer that's granular, they could also allow you to feed external signals into the green cloud buffers and you could use the granular synthesizer is a granular processor too. Re: Using the NN-19 as a granular synth (solved, patches inside!)
All this energy and effort should just go into telling the propellerheads to just make a real honest to goodness granular synthesizer. I've been begging them for it since Reason version 2.5.
