Is there (besides the RPG-8), a free rate arp in Reason or RE?

RPG-8 is pretty good, but the lower hz are very senstive imo, if you pass 1/8 its already too fast when triggering notes.

Lots and lots of compression and really harsh synths. I miss that era in music
